Dr Ben Davis

GP & Clinical Sexologist

Dr Ben Davis is a medical doctor, clinical sexologist, and COSRT-registered sex and relationship therapist. He's one of only a handful of doctors internationally to be dual-trained in sexual medicine and psychosexual therapy.

Ben trained at the University of Cambridge and UCL. He holds a PhD in population health, membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), and a Fellowship of the European Committee of Sexual Medicine (FECSM). He also sits on the committee of the British Society of Sexual Medicine.

Working as an NHS GP within his own private clinic, Ben specialises in men's sexual health, bringing his medical and therapeutic expertise together. He works to help men understand the root cause of what they're experiencing, whether that's erectile difficulties, low libido, testosterone deficiency, premature ejaculation, sexual performance anxiety, or loss of desire. These can all have physical causes, psychological causes, or relational ones, and getting that distinction right changes everything.

When it comes to men and sex, Ben is a passionate advocate for moving the focus away from performance and towards pleasure, vulnerability, and intimacy. He brings this essential perspective to a wide public audience as an expert contributor to The Guardian, The Telegraph, Cosmopolitan, the i Paper, and through podcasts and YouTube.

With a specialist interest in gay, bi, and queer men's sexual health, Ben brings hormonal, physical, and psychosexual expertise to a space that has historically centred sexual health through the lens of risk, rather than the full richness of desire, intimacy, and identity. This is a conversation he continues as a regular podcast guest, speaking openly about erections, testosterone, TRT, and sex therapy.
