Secrets 5 Function Remote Control Vibrating Side-Tie Knickers

I have been wanting to try out a remote control vibe for a while as they just seem really fun and interesting to me.

When I saw that there were reduced ones on Lovehoney, I couldn't pass them up. I saw it was reduced from £45 to only £18 so I thought I might as well.

Cute knickers and a good shape vibrator which goes more with the curve of your body than a simple bullet. Slightly load but if you are in a busy, load place then the sound is drowned out.

I was lucky enough to receive this for free in return for an honest review and I’m happy to say I can recommend it. I’ve been hunting for a good remote control vibrator for a while, and let me tell you, as someone whose go-to is a magic wand it has not been easy. This is the first time I’ve been happy with the strength of the vibrations. Remote control vibrators are generally designed to be quiet, but I’ve found that often comes at the expense of power.

It’s no mains-powered magic wand, but it sure makes itself known, and with five different functions (3 levels of continuous and two patterns), you can adjust it to get exactly the reaction you want. To switch between the modes, simply click the remote or the button on the vibrator to cycle through them and at any point a long press on the remote will set it back into standby mode. This isn’t whisper-quiet, but it’s not exactly loud. It can definitely be covered up by background music that still allows for conversation.

Something I really appreciate is when little details are considered. The vibrator requires four LR44 batteries (which are included) to be inserted into a little holder and then into the toy. "Those are going to be so annoying to get back out!" I can already hear you saying, but taped to the instruction manual comes a little tool with which you can poke them out through holes at the back of the holder. You can also use it to pop the battery out of the remote. It’s a simple thing really, but one I appreciate nonetheless.

The knickers it comes with are lovely and comfortable. The lace is soft and stretchy, the ribbons allow them to be adjusted and add a fun new way for your SO to take them off. They have a little pouch to slot the vibrator into which unfortunately did not line up with my body. I can hardly fault them for that though, since all bodies are different shapes and sizes, there’s no way to make it line up for everyone and wearing some fitted jeans over the top held the vibrator in place just fine.

The range on the remote control isn’t huge. I’d recommend a metre or less, it can go further, but gets a bit temperamental and doesn’t respond to every click. Speaking of click, it’s audible, probably louder than the vibrator itself. Along the lines of a click on a PC mouse I’d say.

Overall, I’m a fan of this toy. It does exactly what I want it to, gets me excited about getting back to the bedroom. This one's going onto the shelf of toys I intend to use again.

Myself and my partner were both super excited to have some fun with this. Although it came earlier than expected, I didn’t.

It’s very loud, far from discreet and safe to say the bullet does a better job. Disappointing to say the least, but hey ho, maybe someone else’s cup of tea!
