This was the first type of adult board game I had ever purchased, and I must say my partner and I really enjoyed it! It really is a fun, passionate game for two.

The simple version on how this game works is that your little purple piece goes around the board and you land on a marker (the kiss, the heart or the gender signs). From there you get a sexual topic to discuss with your partner. If your partner thinks you have done a good job, which you are rewarded a lovemaking card which you get to use/perform when having sex.

We personally did not do any preparation, but if you are passionate about getting your head into the game I would suggest just having a quick read of all the cards to ensure you have everything you need.

I must admit, when you do get to your lovemaking cards my partner and I were quite picky and had some difficulty trying some of the positions, but overall we had a lot of fun! We got to share and discuss our favourite sexual preferences and memories which was not only quite romantic, but special and fun at the same time.

I would definitely suggest this to any couple wanting to spice things up a little. However, unfortunately it's not friendly to same gendered couples.

    1. Great fun

Well, we already had the smaller card-only version of the game, and had a great time (well, a lot more than ONE great time!) with that, so when we realised there was a board game version too we were keen to try this out too.

This plays (obviously) along the same lines as the card version, but things change along the way, so you can never be 100% certain of what the evening holds for you in the end!

We also lent it to some friends of ours, who have a broader sexual 'appetite' than us - my friend saw it on top of my wardrobe when we were chatting and getting ready to go for a meal, and asked if they could borrow it for one of their 'parties' - I said 'okay, as long as you give me some feedback for a review I'm doing' (nice when someone else does some of the work! hehehe).

Although the game itself is designed for 'a' couple' - they decided to play as teams, with each lady and her 'partner for the evening' playing as a team, to see what would happen, and said it worked fantastically!

My husband and I aren't into the same 'scene' as they are, but it does show just how versatile the game is, for those of you that are! hehehehehe

It was a lot of fun, plenty of laughs AND sex!
There's a lot of prep - food items/toys/outfits to get ready beforehand
      Bottom line
Great great fun - the more prep you're prepared to do, the better the game.

    1. One happy couple

Reviewed: 30 March 2014 by Nikki and rich, a Straight Engaged Male

This game took me and my partner by total surprise.

I was a bit unsure if the game would sexually motivate the OH. Well, it did, and ended in a memorable evening.

The box the game comes in is attractive and well presented.

The game itself was not intimidating at all. The questions are not kinky but slowly build the mood and anticipation.

I'd say it's ideal for couples who are stuck in a rut.

    1. Really intimate

Reviewed: 24 September 2013 by LetsTryThis, a Straight Married Female

I really love this board game, and prefer it infinitely over Monogamy.

Lust is simple to play. You role the dice and pick up a card according to the colour you land on.

      The cards are:

Body Language (yellow) - which is things like talking and reminiscing about what you find sexy about your partner's body and touching various parts of the body without talking, just using your partner's reactions to guide you.

Romance (orange) - which is things like telling each other why you only have eyes for each other and kissing.

And Sensuality (red) - which is things like talking about things your partner has done that has really turned you on and dimming the lights and putting on some music.

If you do the card successfully you are rewarded by picking up a 'Lovemaking' card (more on this in a mo).

As you can see, the 'activity' cards are heavily based on talking to/at each other. Sharing, reminiscing, telling, discussing. Personally I LOVED this. I loved being able to tell my husband everything I love and cherish about him, and I loved reminiscing about how we met etc. It was also amazing to hear his thoughts too and for him to put into words how he feels. (Something that, let's face it, in today's world we sometimes neglect to do).

So once you have succeeded in an activity you pick up a Lovemaking card - these come in 5 different colours starting from gentle positions through to more adventurous positions. The aim of the game is to build up your 'menu' consisting of one card from each colour. (If you get two of the same colour you get to choose which one to keep). Then when you and your partner's piece are both on the 'bed' square you get to act the Lovemaking cards out. (If you get there before you have a full menu you go back to the 'Smooch' square and yep smooch before resuming the game.

For me personally the 'sex menu' is just the icing on the cake. The game itself is so intimate because you really do end up sharing your inner thoughts with each other. This isn't about kink, or roleplay (which I felt Monogamy was more geared to). This is about being intimate and sharing an experience. The first time we played this it was about 90 mins at least from when we first rolled the dice to when we started acting it out. It was a memorable evening that we have tried to recreate.

Disappointingly there aren't enough activity cards. I mean, once you've told each other how you felt when you first laid your eyes on each other you can't really do it all again the next week. Maybe in a few months time when you want to hear it all again.

That being said you can always make a short version of the game just using the lovemaking cards and pulling one out at a time and acting it out. But as I said these are the icing on the cake for me. I preferred the foreplay of playing out all the activity cards.

The lovemaking cards as I've said have 5 different colours, red, orange, yellow, white and blue. The red cards are either warm up activities, like getting a hot steamy shower, or 'additions' you can use for the session, like sex toys and bondage. The orange cards are either oral positions or hand/finger related. The rest of the cards are all different positions leaving you with 26 positions to try out. They all have pencil drawings of the position and it is fairly easy to work out how to get into each one.

The only thing I would say is the cards are all depicting a heterosexual couple. There is nothing stopping a gay couple from enjoying this game (with a little bit of imagination or a strap on) but I'm not sure if the pictures would be a turn off.

The intimacy of sharing your inner most thoughts about each other.
Not enough 'activity' cards meaning it can't be played repeatedly in quick concession.
      Bottom line
      Swoon!! I loved playing this!

A sexy journey with your partner during this game. 3 types of card that reveal romance, sensuality and body language. You can reminisce about your first time together, reenact it and reveal each other's fantasies and deepest desires. When you reach the end of the game you can enjoy a mind-blowing session with your partner that could last for hours.
