This arrived in its traditional discreet and well packaged, Lovehoney style. If you’re interested in packaging it’s a great and informative box (not that you should need help working out where this goes). Pretty basic cardboard box, but it’s definitely giftable in its own packaging, so if you’re buying for someone special you’re good to go.

The dildo itself is exceptional, good quality silicone and and excellent finish with no imperfections, even the cute heart design is perfect.

Being silicone I expected it to be very floppy, and it does have a good wobble, but it’s as stiff and rigid as the real thing. Squeezing the shaft there’s a good give to it like a lifelike erection, and the head is good and pronounced along with the curve of the hard shaft. This hits the spot just right for me.

Overall, thoroughly impressed and the suction cup is strong so easy hands free fun, and it looks like it would fit easily in a harness if you have a need for one.

The "Heartthrob" is made of fabulously bright red, good quality, very firm silicone. It has a little squish and give to it so isn't entirely unyielding, but is definitely quite rigid - this makes it pretty good for strap-on play in my opinion, and also helps with keeping things pointing in the right direction when the integrated suction-cup style base is being used.

It's not too anatomical in shape - there is a pronounced ridged "head" shape, but the colours and smoothness stop it being too realistic-looking, which I personally like, and the colours go really well with my strap-on harness. The slight taper and slight upward curve to the shaft make it great for G-spot and P-spot play without being too intimidating.

As I mentioned, the quality is great, the silicone is obviously premium smooth and matte, with a little drag to the surface that is easily overcome with a good dollop of lube, and there are no seams or imperfections to get in the way of play or hinder cleaning.

I'm pleased to have got my hands on this dildo in time for Valentine's, as the heart theme and red colour definitely mean this little beauty will feature during proceedings on the day itself!

All in all it's another great all-round penetration toy from Lovehoney and one that will see plenty of use. :)
