    1. Product Description

Imagine two small soft-buttocked men sitting on your eyes in rubber pants. That's the feeling you get with this terrific device. Squeeze the bladder to pump air in, then release using the steel valve. A curious sensation for fans of eye bondage. Come on, you know who you are!

When fully inflated circumference is 8-inches.

    1. Good, but not great:

Reviewed: 26 December 2007 by tubbstitute

I (along with everyone else I guess) have an odd-shaped head which means that traditional blindfolds don't tend to sit well on the bridge of my nose, causing only partial removal of sight.

This looked to be a perfect solution: it will inflate and mould to the contours of my face, causing a total light seal...

In operation, I found that if the blindfold was inflated to any significant pressure, it would leak out through the joint with the stop screw. This was remedied with a freezer bag clip on the airline!

In terms of blocking out all light, it works pretty well; the only downside for me being that to reach that level of darkness, it tends to apply a noticeable pressure against my eye. Play for any extended length of time caused a minor blurring of vision.

It is now used rarely, only in conjunction with other hoods, to allow less pressure to be used.

    2. Overall Rating
      6 out of 10 stars
      Pros
      flexible, adapts to facial contours
      Cons
air leaks from end of hose. difficult to achieve blackout without excess pressure
      Bottom line
Interesting idea, might work better for less "nasally endowed" people
