    1. Best one I've tried, an' I've tried quite a few

      Reviewed: 20 July 2011 by loves2stroke, a Straight Going Steady Male

      I've gotten through two of these bad boys now and the only reason I'm not on my 3rd is that they're out of stock!

      I've tried quite a few of these personal stroking aids and this one is by far my favourite. The skin feels great and it makes almost no noise. There are patches of textured nubs on the interior that seem to stroke all the right spots. With a little lube (I recommend 'Liquid Silk' as it literally never goes sticky), you'll slide in easily and be loving the sensations in no time.

      The only problem is that it won't last you forever. After several uses the latex wears away, holes start appearing and crumbs of latex fall of as you're using it - which looks unpleasant but, hey, you've gotta clean yourself up after using it anyway, right? And it's still good value for money. You'll get far more use from this for your £15 than you would with one of the £10 'single-use' TENGA masturbators.

      Easy to clean, just turn it inside-out and run it under a tap.

      Highly recommended.

      Pros
      Quiet, simple, comfortable, feels bloody lovely.
      Cons
      Latex starts wearing away after a few uses.
      Bottom line
      Quality product for the price.

    1. SI-X appeal

      Reviewed: 07 July 2011 by languagemonkey, a Bisexual Single Male

      As a reasonably seasoned fan of sleeves I wanted to give this one a run for its (eminently affordable) money. I'd already tried the Head Honcho - my first great sleeve experience - and a couple of others found locally in sex shops, so was interested to see how the comparison would shape up.

      My first impressions on taking it out of the box were:

      - its blackness makes it look dense and solid, but it's actually extremely light, almost as if it were made of foam rubber;

      - the entry hole is veeeerrry small; this turned out to be much less of a problem than I had imagined.

      My single biggest gripe with the other sleeves I've tried is that they always seem to take a while to 'warm up' to me, as they start off almost painfully tight and only loosen up to a pleasurable level with use. When I saw the entry hole on the SI-X R I was concerned this would be the case here too, but I hadn't bargained on the device's incredible stretchiness. This thing could be the Elastogirl Fleshlight.

      So... on to the sensations. Since I slid in without any problems I could get down to the serious business relatively quickly, and the softness of the material was just perfect. The "360° texture" seems to be a helical series of ridged bumps, like a little spiral of G-spots, and you can really feel them along the whole length of the shaft. As for the claim that it feels "exactly like intense anal sex", well... it doesn't. It does, however, feel so good that you really won't care. I have yet to find a sex toy that replicates the sensations of anal sex with any degree of authenticity anyway. I didn't actually read the instructions beforehand so I haven't tried squeezing the "ejaculation chamber" for that pleasant suction with every thrust; that'll be for next time.

      Cleaning up is easy enough, once you realise it is actually a closed-chamber device. I saw the mould flash on the end of the chamber and thought it was a tiny hole, but no. I'd be a bit reticent about turning it inside out for cleaning but you don't have to anyway - a good jet of warm water does the job just fine.

      One more thing - the sachet of lube supplied with the device is a Japanese formula and, depending on what you're used to using, it might be a LOT thicker than you're expecting. I'm used to water-based lubes with the consistency of vegetable oil, but this was more like egg white. Worked a treat, though.

      In short:

      - soft yet firm material that stretches enough to accommodate even the more generously-endowed;

      - interesting, stimulating texture;

      - easy to use, easy to clean;

      - just the thing when you can't be bothered with all the faffing involved in getting the Fleshlight up to temperature by leaving it in hot water, etc. (which, for me, is most of the time);

      - nice and cheap, almost as cheap as the one-use devices, but it looks pretty damned sturdy to me.

    2. Overall Rating
      10 out of 10 stars
      Pros
      Very accommodating; lovely soft texture; can really feel the bumps.
      Cons
      Can't fault it yet.
      Bottom line
      Stimulates parts that some more expensive gadgets cannot reach.

    1. SI-X Type R Masturbator exceptionally good

      Reviewed: 14 November 2010 by Joystick, a Bisexual Single Male

      Appearance. While I recognise that the Tenga Flip Hole looks really nice, this is one criteria I am not too fussed about. Some people like sleeves which are pink and anatomically correct at the opening, but to be perfectly honest, no vagina or anus on a person is going to look like a tube/cylinder! That is unless you buy one of those big torso models which just freak me out as it looks like you dismembered someone's crotch area!

      That being said, this is very sleek and minimalist in design. I like this design but I guess it is down to personal preference.

      Cleaning & durability

      I like to flip my toys out for thorough cleaning and then dry with a towel before storing. I generally find that the better and more complex a toy, the harder it is to clean. I feared that as soon as I flipped it the opening would start to tear, but so far no tears.

      Probably not going to be as durable in the long term as a Flip Hole, but this is a fraction of the price.

      While the internal design is very complex and intricate on the box, once you flip it inside out the crevices are all stretched so cleaning is a breeze. High rating in this department.

      Feeling

      The illustration on the box is what made me order it - often illustrations can exaggerate the internal design. Although the actual internals of the toy are not quite as intricate as the picture, just sticking your finger inside will let you know you are in for a hell of a ride.

      I have no desire to order the torso toys - which I gather offer intense experiences, but I believe this offers a comparable experience, as the internal chamber is very tight and you have to push your way in every step of the way!

      Sensation-wise this is up there with the Tenga Flip Hole and Head Honcho. Never tried real anal sex but if it is like this I doubt I would last very long. It is very intense with differing sensations as you stroke it, like the aforementioned products.

      I am of average length and below average girth so I prefer something that is relatively tight without over-reliance on my hand to provide the pleasure. With some other toys I have to exert some pressure with my own hand but with this I tried my best not to as it was already so intense. I can't continue the assault for long without resting or it's all over!

      For the medium endowed this should work fine too as it is quite stretchy. For guys with very thick girth I'm not sure if will be as good as it might be stretched so far that the sensations are no longer there.

      This combines my favourite features: small ribs, relatively tight, varying internal design, ease of cleaning and durability.

      The Head Honcho provides a similar intensity of sensation but the opening tears very fast. If you want a similar experience but with greater durability I would highly recommend this as it is the same price. In fact, I'm going to try the other one in the series.

      Note: The other reviewer said there was free lube but mine didn't contain any. This is not a big deal but I thought I'd mention it as that is really the only quibble I could even find about this product.

    1. Rear-entry style

      Reviewed: 29 August 2010 by Mr.P.York., a Straight Single Male

      This stroker features typical Japanese attention to product detail and is different to similar others such as the "Peach Club Stroker" in that it features in addition to the usual "Nubs and Bumps". Two large "Ridges" that are offset to give a "Twisted" reduction in the internal diameter.

      Also supplied is a 15ml sachet of Lube.

    2. Overall Rating

      Twisted internal design feature.

      Nothing.

      Excellent Japanese product.

    1. Good but not the best

      Reviewed: 03 March 2012 by richardp, a Straight Married Male

      Value:

      At £15 this stroker is definitely at the cheaper end of the market, yet it does the job. I got this in a Crazy Random Grab Bag, but even at usual retail the price is fair. The only issue for me is the Tracey Cox strokers are only £5 more.

      Quality:

      The foamy plastic used feels and looks a little cheap (as is to be expected at this price point) yet it feels reasonably sturdy. After a few uses and washes it looks and feels as new. I don't have any concerns in terms of durability.

      Appearance:

      This is supposed to simulate anal sex but the entrance area doesn't resemble an anus in the slightest. There is a just a hole for entry and that is it. On the other hand this does mean that it is reasonably discreet. Adults may understand what this is if found but children wouldn't if it were found drying for example.

      Orgasm:

      Again, this is supposed to simulate anal sex but it doesn't feel like it for me. The feeling is pleasurable, however, and the size of it allows you to rotate it easily, which produces a unique feeling! It doesn't quite produce as an intense feeling as more expensive strokers do, which initially seems like a bad thing, but it does allow you to have longer sessions with this, which can sometimes be desirable. For me this is especially the case for foreplay, where I can enjoy the feeling without having to hold back and preventing myself from orgasming for later sex.

      Ease of Use:

      Usage is as simple as applying a little lube to the entrance area and a little to yourself. It is also easy to reverse and wash, and the foamy material dries quickly. Because of its compactness, discreet looks and ease of washing it would be ideal for taking while travelling.

      Overall:

      I probably wouldn't buy this given the choice but it was a welcome addition to my Grab Bag and I will definitely be using it again. It just won't be my main stroker.
