VeDO DRIVE Silicone Vibrating Cock Ring

This was our first cock ring that me and my partner have properly reviewed. We were rather excited when we were told we could get the chance to test this product in exchange for our honest review, thanks to Leanne!

I cannot comment on the packaging itself that the VeDO DRIVE came in as this was a copywriter sample. However, the item was delivered in the usual discreet brown boxed packaging.

The product itself is made from a smooth silky silicone, which feels very nice to touch compared to some other silicone toys. It does not attract dust or any hairs, unlike other toys, so it can be stored in one of my drawstring bags without any worries.

The cock ring is 3cm in diameter and no bigger than 7cm in length.

The product has one constant vibration setting that can easily be turned on and off at the side. I found that the vibrations were actually quite strong, which I was surprised about. This toy is very quiet really, compared to a lot of bullets that are in cock rings.

The VeDO drive uses two button cell batteries and can be replaced. However, how you do this is beyond me. It’s near enough impossible to get the vibrating bullet out of the small silicone gap. I did try and replace the batteries, but it was too hard for me to do and I did not want to break it, so I will be trying to get the bullet out at a later date. The cock rings battery life lasted us around 40/50 minutes, meaning it was used a few times before the batteries needed changing, but it became very difficult to do that.

The VeDO drive is very easy to clean and rather powerful really, considering how quiet it is. I personally liked the curved tip as I found it stayed put compared to other bullet-type cock rings. My partner said it felt comfortable compared to other rings because it’s slightly bigger than some of the other rings that we have.

Overall, we are quite impressed with this product it’s a nice little toy for couples, especially if you are new to any kind of toys !

First impressions of this toy are good; the packaging is very simple and manly with a high-end look about it. Inside we find the ring itself which feels really nice and soft.

There is a good amount of stretch in it, and it can be worn both around the shaft of the penis or for a tighter fit, around the balls as well. The design is also very pleasing with an upward curve to increase clitoral stimulation.

Once on, it is comfortable, you never feel too restricted, but also it does not feel like it will fall off at the crucial moment. That, however, is where the positives end sadly.

It has a lot going for it, but it is let down by the bullet vibrator powering it. The small vibrator is just too weak and I didn't really feel much sensation from it. This is also a problem for your partner as that lack of oomph means the clitoral stimulation is not nearly enough and you end up using fingers or another more powerful bullet. How disappointing!

Another issue is getting the vibe out. It takes some effort to tease it from the centre of the ring and you will need to get in there for not only cleaning but replacing the batteries. If it had been USB-powered this might not have been so bad, but I do think it is a design flaw.
