    1. Great looking, easy to use, fun vibrator

Reviewed: 09 August 2017 by Flamingo Girl, a Straight Single Female

I really liked the look of this vibrator when I saw it on the website and as I'm a sucker for pretty toys, I thought I’d give it a try. I almost changed my mind when I realised it wasn’t rechargeable which is a pre-requisite for me, but then I read that you could convert it to rechargeable so I went ahead.

I didn’t order the recharge kit as I already have a Fun Factory charging lead and thought I could pick up a pack of batteries from the supermarket on my next shopping trip to save a bit of money.

As with all Fun Factory products, the packaging looks nice but you sadly don’t get a storage bag included. The build quality of the vibe is excellent, it’s a good, reassuring weight and the materials feel great to the touch.

The vibe is a compact size, nicely tapered and is fairly flexible. The wings were just the right length to make contact with my clitoris with the vibe fully inserted - which was a bonus as I’ve found that some other brands just don’t seem to work with my anatomy.

Next step - batteries. Cursing myself for not having bought rechargeable batteries yet, I scrabbled around the house trying to find a couple of regular AAA batteries to try it out, this is exactly the reason I only but rechargeable toys. After several failed attempts with dead batteries, I managed to find a couple that worked. Triumphant I hit the ‘Fun’ button and switched on the vibe. Like the other Fun Factory products, it has a good, strong rumbly type of vibration (I’m not a fan of buzzy toys), plenty of patterns to try. and really, really easy controls that don’t require you to keep looking down to see what you're doing mid-use.

With a little lube, insertion is easy and even though I find silicone toys a bit uncomfortable to insert, this one was very good due to its size, head shape and tapering. The rumbly vibes feel really good and the nice shaped head is also very pleasurable for direct clitoral stimulation.

Then about 5 minutes later… Oh No! the damn batteries died on me! So frustrating! *Rummage in draw to grab the nearest toy I can find to finish off*

I now have my rechargeable batteries, charging takes ages (about 12 hours for the Vibe to report them as fully charged) although a single charge seems to last a long time anyway. I think the vibrations seem stronger using the rechargeable batteries too.

The only slight disappointment is that the wings don’t transfer enough of the vibration from the shaft to give strong simultaneous clitoral stimulation and I couldn’t quite climax using it in that way - it was close but just not quite enough for me.

All in all, this is a nice looking, fun and well-made product but make sure you convert it to be rechargeable!

Quality product but buy the recharging kit!

    1. It Hasn't Been Fun

Reviewed: 16 August 2017 by Couple looking to spice things up, a Straight Married Female

I've had limited success with rabbits. Some managed to tease my clit but missed my inner spot. Others found my G-spot, but you guessed it, my clit was left feeling deserted. I really have struggled to get a rabbit vibe to fit my bits. Were mine even in right positions? Whatever right is. I'd had enough, I felt sorry for Lovehoney's returns department so abandoned my search and focused on other toys to get my kicks.

Then came an opportunity to test a Fun Factory's Wicked Wings. Browsing the web, its design won me over. The clit stimulator is wings, designed to nestle rather than poke the clitoris. While the internal length seemed more than manageable. I agreed with myself and accepted the invitation.

This is my first venture with Fun Factory but with their quirky designs and success I had high hopes. The packaging was certainly all that. A gold box, but not garish, it contained the vibe, instructions but sadly no storage bag.

Out of the box and first impressions were also positive. This vibe is incredibly cute. There has been a bit of a boom with cute sex toys lately and I was pleased to have one in my collection. The delicate pale blue and wings scream cuddle me rather than f*ck me. Envisioning I'd have to close my eyes I psyched myself up.

Considering the price tag you might be mistaken for thinking the Fun Factory Wicked Wings would be rechargeable. Well you'd be wrong. Unless you fork out for the charger pack currently £17.99 on Lovehoney it isn't. Lucky for me I was also sent a charger kit (review to follow) so I didn't have to spend half-a-day hunting down batteries, I simply popped it on charge via its magnet connection. Being Mrs positive, I guess the option to be battery or rechargeable means you're less likely to run out of buzz mid-masturbation as long as you've got batteries on standby of course.

Material is another thing that is generally associated with £££'s. This is silicone, which is one of my preferred products to stick up my vagina. With silicon toys, I am always prepared to put up with them being a bit of a lint magnet. There's a lint magnet then there's THE LINT MAGNET. This is the latter. I'm shitting you not, the thing had only been sat on charge and it had turned into a fur ball.

Inconvenient clean complete. I lubed up myself and the tip of the vibrator and began to awaken my clit. Things seemed to be improving for this vibe, it was easy to operate, it didn't make a right racket and the vibrations weren't too bad. Soon I was suitably turned on to insert. It was at this moment my rabbit issues returned. Shaft in-situ, the wings weren't anywhere near my clitoris.

In fact they were so far off I did think about providing them with a sat nav. Even if they'd been closer there's very little flex in the wings, so manipulating them to fit around any clitoris would be virtually impossible. And in all honesty the power coming from them is pathetic. If they had reached, I can only imagine I would have got more satisfaction teasing my clit with a feather tickler.

Time to clean it up and put in away, for good. Perhaps the only real positive thing going for this, is it's waterproof. Which, with its ability to stick to each and every fibre, hair and piece of fluff in the entire house, it's a damn good job it is! I'm actually thankful the toy is wank, otherwise, if I did want to use it again I'd have to put it in quarantine.

I think you'll probably got the jist but here's my summary. Unless you find this toy sooooo incredibly cute that you're happy to just look at the thing I really wouldn't bother parting with your cash.

      Pros
Nicely presented, looks the part, quiet, easy to use.
      Cons
Total lint magnet, doesn't provide dual stimulation
      Bottom line
Avoid. Looks good but doesn't deliver!
