    1. I would buy the whole range

Reviewed: 14 June 2018 by AmyA, a Bisexual Single Female

I have had the bright tie-dye mustang for quite a while now and absolutely adore it, but I just wished it was a little bigger.

I noticed this has an ever so slightly bigger girth, so I decided to invest again.

This range has to have the most realistic feel in silicone. The dual density outside is wonderfully giving and soft, whilst the core still keeps it firm. Although these have so far still been too flexible for me to use them anally, I am hoping that with more practice it will happen as I am longing for something more 'real feel' back there!

I love the textures and particularly as this has an uncut appearance, which also really adds to the sensations and is always a preference of mine, which I wish was catered for more. The textures and head give a great amount of stimulation and take me quickly to the tipping point if a quick orgasm is what is wanted. Equally slow play feels divine if you can manage it!

I haven't had opportunity to use this in a harness (something I hope I can try one day), but the saddle base makes it easy to hold and is an attractive colour.

I still love and use my 'unicorn' bright mustang, but the little extra girth and (it seems) slightly more pronounced head just gives this that extra star.

I just love this range and if there was more variety in size (preferably bigger) I would not hesitate to invest in even more than the two I own.

      Material/real feel/dual density and textures/realism.

      Bottom line
Even at this price I did not regret adding another Vixen to my collection.

    1. Oh. My. God.

Reviewed: 22 February 2016 by Sex Squid

At time of reviewing the Mustang Royale there are only 3 reviews, all by females, so I feel I should add a kinky male's perspective.

My partner and I were looking for a new toy for strap-on play; having used various toys, but still seeking 'The One'. We were drawn to the Vixen range on the strength of other reviews.

With the Mustang, we think we've found our 'The One' - I can't see myself ever wanting to be penetrated by anything else; this is now my OH's cock.

The dual density core is astonishing! I've tried a Wildfire Cyberskin dildo before but it doesn't come close to the Vixen for realism. The solid core runs from the base of the shaft to just below the head and is encased in a soft and squeezable silicone. There's more bend in the Vixen than a real erect penis (but that's a good thing in my opinion), but the balance between soft and flexible vs being able to dish out a firm seeing-to is perfect. The exposed head is made entirely of the same soft silicone as the outer shaft; which means when my partner gets carried away and is pounding me deeply, there's no discomfort when the head bumps against my insides (and therefore no need to stop and adjust).

So, is it worth paying the extra £10 for the moulded base? We haven't tried the flat-base Mustang (yet! the tie-dye version is on my wishlist)... but my partner feels it definitely helps. Whilst it's not orgasm inducing, she says it presses on her clit nicely, especially when taking me in the missionary position with my bum raised on a couple of cushions. We concluded it is worth the extra.

We coupled this with the RodeoH crotchless strap-on low-rise panties (1.75" O-ring diameter) and the Mustang Royale fits perfectly.

All in all, I don't think a better realistic dildo exists. It is mind-blowing, and now I want the tie-dye version more than ever, so I can be the middle of a Vixen sandwich.

    1. A Great Addition to the Regular Mustang

Reviewed: 11 February 2016 by squiddie

This dildo has all the brilliance of the original Mustang (which is mine and my girlfriend's favourite toy for strap-on play), with an awesome upgrade.

On the original mustang: It's size is just right and she loves the curve. It sits well in a good quality harness (I've tried it in both the Aslan Jaguar and Spareparts Joque) and it stays in place well. It feels great, a squidgy soft tip, and Vixen's VixSkin dual density feel great.

The saddle feels great, you need to make sure you have a harness that will allow you to benefit from it. And everyone is built differently so where it felt great for me, it might be in the wrong place for someone else. The two little (what I'm calling) wings are made of the same VixSkin material so are soft and supple, which feel great. Shame it doesn't come in the awesome tie-dye colour that I my original Mustang sports, but that is just a tiny niggle.

    1. One of my favourites

Reviewed: 28 August 2015 by Miss Ruby Reviews

There are a rare few dildos that click with me right away. These are ones that I don't need to warm up to, that I find immediately stimulating, that I want to go from 0 to 100 (in the "mad thrusting scale") right away. This is one of those dildos.

From the get go, I was surprised by just how good this dildo feels. That prominent head, which would painfully catch on my pubic bone had it been a hard plastic, just kind of melts and moulds against my walls.

Thanks to the curved shaft and the raised coronal ridge, I also get to enjoy great G-spot stimulation. Is it one of those dildos that zones in immediately and holds your G-spot in blissful hostage? No. But it doesn't neglect the G-spot either. I don't have G-spot orgasms, but this toy enhances my clitoral orgasms a ton, taking my clitoral orgasms from Moan to Scream levels of intensity.

I can't quite get the full body of the shaft in, as this dildo is just a pinch longer than my vagina, but its soft, pillowy head means that, even if I do bump my cervix, there's no pain. This is a simple point but it's also incredibly important to me. It means that I can thrust very fast and vigorously without worrying about hurting myself, something that makes this dildo indispensable to me.

It doesn't hurt either that sort of material feels amazing when it's slick with lubricant. I drizzle a light coating right before use and it keeps slick and slippery, which of course lends itself well to frenzied thrusts. It does use up lubricant quickly though, so keep your bottle close.

And there is, of course, the realism factor. I get to have the pleasure of squeezing my Kegels around the body of the dildo. My vaginal walls, regrettably, aren't as tactile as my fingers, so I can't pick up the firmer inner core, but it still feels lovely to grasp and hold it.

So how about the curious saddle base, then? The saddle base is designed to stimulate the wearer when the dildo is in an O-ring strap-on harness. For me, the saddle base, overall, feels better than a standard flat base but isn't, in itself, majorly orgasmic for me. Obviously, vulvas are built differently so this may just have to do with my own personal dimensions, but hear me out.

The clitoral side is definitely the best part of the base, as it snaps right into place against my clitoris IF I position the harness so that the dildo is slightly lower than it usually is. When I do this, the clitoral side can make contact, and it feels nice and squishy and sensuous and - dare I say it - stimulating. The more I thrust and move about, the more it squishes against and around my clitoris.

Can this bring my clitoris to orgasm? Nope. But it feels nice, and it certainly adds something to the mix.

The bottom/vaginal side of the saddle base doesn't actually reach my vagina. I was hoping it that the tip of that end would dip inside, but it doesn't even come close for me. Instead, the bottom simply curves comfortably around my vulva.

So for me, the saddle base transforms a usually-boring flat base into something that is comfortable and even sensuous, but not super stimulating. I'm totally happy with this.

In sum, the Vixen Mustang Royale is a keeper. It's definitely one of my favourite dildos, thanks to the immediately-stimulating design and feel. The VixSkin dual-density silicone certainly lives up to its name, providing me with a realism I can't get from most dildos. As for the saddle base? I find it stimulating, but not orgasmic. But I still enjoy the saddle base because it hugs my pubic mound, rendering it certainly more comfortable than a flat base.

Long story short? I don't think you can go wrong with the Mustang Royale.

Stimulating, realistic look, dual density feels amazing, 100% silicone, comfortable saddle base.
      Cons
Saddle base isn't extremely orgasmic (though it still is stimulating and comfortable).
      Bottom line
I don't think you can go wrong here. One of my favourite dildos!

    1. One of the Best Strap-on Dildos Ever

Reviewed: 22 August 2015 by Fluffbags, a Straight Going Steady Female

Strap-on sex really turns me on, but I find it incredibly difficult to stimulate myself while wearing a strap-on harness. Usually, I will put my pleasure on the back burner so that I can focus on pleasuring my partner. I thought it would always be this way, but then I saw the Vixen Mustang Royale and I suddenly had hope. Would that saddle base make contact with my clitoris and allow me to build towards orgasm as I thrust into my partner? I just had to find out.

      Product Information:

The Vixen Mustang Royale is an ultra-realistic dildo, designed primarily for use in a strap-on harness. It can still be used as a stand-alone dildo, but the saddle base is designed to provide additional stimulation to the strap-on wearer. Unlike a flat base, the curved, raised saddle will cup the pubic mound, ideally providing pressure to your clitoris/labia. In my opinion, the base design is most suitable for female wearers, as the raised nubs are likely to press uncomfortably against a male wearer.

The Mustang Royale is made from dual density (Vixskin) silicone. A firmer silicone is used to create the base and core of the dildo, then a thick layer of soft, squishy silicone is applied to finish. This dual density design feels incredibly realistic.

To further enhance the realism, the Mustang Royale has been designed to look like a real penis. The detailing is incredible, from the convincing shape, right down to the smallest details (foreskin, skin wrinkles and raised veins). Measuring 6.5 inches in useable (insertable) length and 5 inches in circumference on average (4.75 inches around the coronal ridge. 4.5 inches around the centre of the shaft and 5.25 inches at the base of the shaft), the Mustang Royale’s dimensions are realistic and manageable.

Vixen use a 100% platinum grade silicone to create all of their dildos, including the Mustang Royale. This material is odourless, virtually non-porous and completely body safe. Best of all, it can even be sterilised using a 10% bleach 90% water solution (rinse well), or by placing the dildo in a bowl of boiling water.

      My Experience:

I removed the Mustang Royale from its packaging and spent a few minutes marvelling at its realism. As a female who prefers a softer, squishy dildo, I am totally in love with Vixen dual density dildos. The outer layer of silicone is so soft, that I can squish it easily beneath my fingers. The firmer core helps the dildo to hold its shape.

I have yet to find a dildo that feels exactly like a real penis, but I must admit that the Royale comes incredibly close. How does it differ? Well, the silicone creates more drag (friction) than the natural, silky glide of real skin and the dildo feels cold to the touch. Compared to other silicone dildos though, it does warm up incredibly fast during use.

      Use as a Standard Dildo:

The first time I used the Royale I was alone, so I teamed it up with a powerful clitoral vibrator and used the dildo to simulate penetrative sex. I did have to apply a small blob of water based lubricant to get things started, but that was all that was required to keep the Royale gliding smoothly. The silicone may have more drag than a real penis does, but it has less than many other silicone dildos.

I was initially worried that the raised coronal ridge would cause a popping sensation as it slipped past my internal muscles, but the head is so soft, that it seemed to mould to the inside of my vagina. It was so comfortable to insert, even from a cold start.

The Royale’s shaft is slightly curved, which helps to angle the tip of the dildo into my g-spot. Being so soft and flexible, I couldn’t use the Royale for firm, intense g-spot stimulation, but I could still use it to achieve g-spot orgasms. It isn’t my favourite g-spot dildo though; I generally prefer a smoother, more rigid material (such as glass and metal) for this type of play.

The Royale might not be my first choice for g-spot stimulation, but it sits in second place on my favourites list (out of 50+ dildos) for providing an ultra-realistic experience. For those who are curious, it was only beaten to top spot by its shorter brother; the Vixen Tex. My vaginal canal seems to be a bit shallower than most, so I can sometimes feel the head of the Royale brushing up against my cervix. Thankfully, the silicone is soft enough that I don’t experience any discomfort. Still, I would rather avoid this worry altogether (especially when I want to thrust hard and fast) so I do tend to choose the shorter Tex over the Royale.

      Use as a Strap-On Dildo:

Next, I attached the Royale to an O-ring strap-on harness for some pegging fun. When it comes to anal sex, my partner is an intermediate, but he managed to take the Royale with only a small amount of warm up. The super soft silicone provides a less intense experience (compared to firmer dildos of the same size), so I could thrust into him fairly hard and fast, without pushing him too close to his limits.

Just like me, he prefers to use a dildo that doesn’t penetrate too deeply. In general, his first choice is also the Vixen Tex, but the Royale definitely comes in handy for positions that require a little bit more reach (Spooning, for example). Overall though, he rated the Royale very highly.

Sadly, the saddle base didn’t work as well as I was expecting. It does hug my pubic mound more naturally than a flat base dildo does and because it is made from a soft silicone, it provides a comfortable cushion when thrusting. However, the raised base fell drastically short of hitting my clitoris. I adjusted the strap-on harness until it sat as low as possible on my crotch, but the raised nubs still only made contact with my pubic mound.

Occasionally, while thrusting, the edge of the base would make contact with the very tip of my clitoral shaft. This did feel nice, but it was not enough to take me to orgasm.

In my experience, the saddle base feels more comfortable and provides more stimulation than a flat base does. However, it was more of a tease than an outright orgasmic experience.

      Downsides:

Due to the raised saddle base, the Royale does not stand up on its own. It is therefore much harder to use this particular dildo for squatting onto and riding.

      Summary:

The Mustang Royale is the third Vixen dildo to be added to my collection and I now come to think of this brand as one of the best (if not THE best) manufacturer of high quality, silicone dildos. The material quality and realism is out of this world.

I was a little disappointed in the saddle base. I was hoping it would massage my clitoris and take me to orgasm, but in all honesty, this was a long shot. The Royale is still an exceptionally versatile, highly pleasurable dildo.

I would happily recommend the Royale to anyone looking for a high quality dildo; especially those who primarily want to use it for strap-on Sex. Vixen dildos are pricey, but they will last a lifetime if cared for properly. In my opinion, they are worth every penny.

      Pros
It looks and feels incredibly realistic. Love the high-quality silicone.
      Cons
It doesn't stand up on its own, making it difficult to ride.
      Bottom line
One of the best strap-on dildos I have tried to date! Highly recommended.
