Temptation Mini Realistic Slimline Anal Vibrator

I was thrilled to be asked by Lovehoney to review this product as I am a huge fan of anal sex and anal vibrators. After a product mix-up (which LH's brilliant customer service team quickly and efficiently resolved) I was sent this item and honestly, I was disappointed.

Although not a very important point, the packaging was cringe-worthy, featuring a completely naked woman, crouched down with her rear facing the camera. For this reason I would recommend perhaps buying a satin bag to present this toy in if it's intended to be a gift. As well as this, once you open the packaging the smell of the plastic is very strong and despite having washed it at least 4 times, the smell has not gone away. The toy is transparent baby pink, which isn't a pleasant colour, but you can see the inner workings which I quite like. It's about the width of my thumb, which means it is perfect for those who aren't used to anal penetration.

The bullet inside the vibrator is about half the length of a standard bullet, which unfortunately results in weak vibrations. Although I did like the size, I thought the vibrations were too weak to provide proper stimulation. The vibrations travel to the tip of the toy, but once inserted, it feels more like a tickle and if you clench your muscles slightly it pretty much stops. However, this does result in an almost silent toy, it is even quieter than my rechargeable toys.

The twist base feels a tad flimsy and there is very little difference between the weakest and strongest vibrations. Also, when turning the base to increase the strength, there is a fair amount of fluctuation in the vibrations - it will get slightly stronger, then weaker, then a bit stronger again. I think this is due to a connection fault which may be exclusive to my vibrator, I'm not too sure.

Another point to mention is the base of this toy. The base is just as narrow as the shaft. When covered in anal lube (ESSENTIAL, especially for this toy, the plastic has a tendency to 'drag' slightly on skin) it's extremely slippery, meaning that you could easily lose your grip and potentially lose the end in your body. You have to be extremely cautious with this vibrator, it could really do with a slightly flared base for safety.

This toy isn't all bad, though. Its size is non-threatening and the flexible texture means that insertion is completely pain-free. Even a small amount of lube makes the shaft nice and slippery, making this vibrator incredibly easy to use, even for the first time.

Overall, I would recommend this toy to beginners who aren't too concerned about strong vibrations but it is certainly not value for money at full price. I won't be reaching for this anal toy very often and there is a lot of room for improvement.
