    1. Sqweel Go

Reviewed: 04 October 2013 by Spoonerism, a Bisexual Engaged Female

Being a huge fan of the Sqweel 2 I was very excited to be selected to test the newest member of the Sqweel family, the Sqweel Go.

The packaging it comes in is very similar to that of the Sqweel 2 - nice and tasteful, white and pink cardboard box with product info down one side and clear plastic in the centre displaying the toy.

Within the box aside from the toy is a user guide and the USB charger cable. It is worth noting that there isn't a mains plug adaptor so if you don't have one of those lying round then it has to be plugged into a computer.

The toy itself is a little strange looking, sort of like a mini handheld fan! The main body of the toy is hard pink plastic and the wheel is super soft pale pink silicone. The tongues when compared to those of the Sqweel 2 are a lot softer with less 'drag' to them. They feel lovely against the skin.

To charge you simply insert the charger into the base of the toy. I was a little confused at first as there is what appears to be a small rubber 'plug' in the base. I emailed LH as it doesn't mention this in the instructions anywhere and I was unsure if this was supposed to be there or if it needs to be pierced in some way. Turns out if you use a little force there is a tiny hole in the 'plug' that the charger passes through. When charging, the base lights up blue and when it's ready the blue light goes off.

There is one large button on the toy which when pressed scrolls through the 3 speeds and 3 patterns and when held down switches the toy off.

In use I found this toy to be incredibly effective. With lube, I found the sensations produced were actually a lot closer to those I prefer during the real thing - completely unexpected but very welcome discovery! It is gentler than the Sqweel 2 as the tongues are thinner and more flexible. I reached orgasm quite quickly and then a few times over so for me this toy is a complete success!

However I feel I should say that there is a definite technique to using Sqweels and if you're not already familiar with it then it can take a while to get used to. As much as you probably want to, you can't press the toy into yourself for firmer stimulation as this will just slow down/stop the wheel.

The 3 speeds are great, as are the 3 patterns which feel a lot more intuitive and better designed than the weird reverse and 'flicker' modes on the Sqweel 2 which I always found quite uncomfortable.

Another advantage the Sqweel Go has over the larger Sqweel 2 is that being a lot smaller and lighter it is easier to get in the right position and then keep it there long enough.

While not completely silent it is still a lot quieter and more discreet than the Sqweel 2 (which now only comes out when the house is empty!).

Being so tiny and cute it is also less intimidating to partners. I know mine always thought the Sqweel 2 looked far too much like a 'replacement', which of course it isn't but I see where he's coming from.

The only slightly negative point I have is it's kind of tricky to clean given that it's so small and doesn't come apart like the bigger Sqweels. It is possible to poke a wipe through the gap at the bottom to clean the lower tongues but it would be easy if the wheel could be rotated a little bit when switched off.

To conclude, I found the Sqweel Go to be a worthy successor to the Sqweel 2. Despite its size and funny looks it definitely gets the job done and has become a new favourite if mine. The fact it is rechargeable is great as well as I'm starting to switch to using only rechargeable and mains powered toys to save on batteries!

    2. Overall Rating
      10 out of 10 stars
      Pros
It's cute, the sensations produced are wonderful, plus it's quiet and rechargeable.
      Cons
      Slightly tricky to clean thoroughly.
      Bottom line
      Excellent, a new favourite!
