Lovehoney Flirty Black Lace Halterneck Babydoll

We were sent this as a tester item and it didn't disappoint. The fit for Mrs KC (size 12, 34E) was great. It's difficult to find items that fit a size 12 yet still keep larger boobs in place or don't feel like they will burst at the seams but this was perfect. The lace of the halterneck panels adds a touch of class and sensuality to the item and has a soft feel that you sometimes don't get with cheaper lace items. There is reinforcing edging along the sides of the lace to help keep its shape and to stay in place. The lace also tapers beautifully wrapping around the back of the bust.

The ties around the neck were wide enough to offer the necessary support and were also small enough to not overpower the look but not to feel they were digging into the neck making it uncomfortable.

The chemise skirt is just the right shape to fit sensually over the waist without billowing or restricting movement. Again the fabric is soft and comfortable to wear for long periods and is just sheer enough to see what's underneath whilst still leaving something to the imagination.

It has washed well and kept it's shape and colour and will be something we'd both love to see Mrs KC in a lot more in the future.

I've bought a few different pieces of lingerie from Lovehoney, but my husband's face when he seen me in wearing this was a picture.

He said it was the best of them all and got him hard in no time. It was nice and comfortable to wear, and I felt really sexy in it too. It all adds to the excitement and fun in the bedroom.

We were thrilled to be chosen to review this sexy babydoll and as always with Lovehoney, it arrived quickly and discreetly, although the internal packaging wasn’t up to the normal Lovehoney standards i.e. it came in a clear plastic bag. I’m guessing this may be due to it being a new product for review rather than for sale as yet.

We opened it immediately and it was obvious that the materials used are good quality although on closer inspection, there was a small hole where one of the seams hadn’t been sewn properly on one side of the halterneck. That aside, it’s a lovely garment.

The top of the babydoll is made of a gorgeous patterned and soft see-through lace finished with a slightly stretchy scalloped edge which framed my gorgeous wife's boobs beautifully and allowed her lovely nipples to show through. It is non-padded and ties behind the neck. The skirt is a very fine, see-through mesh which, considering it had been posted in a small bag was not at all creased which again suggests the material is good quality.

My wife is a curvy size 12 with petite but perky boobs and found the lace top on the M/L that we received gaped slightly but was not too noticeable. She is conscious of her petite boobs and not all designs work for her but she loved the sexy keyhole front and felt confident wearing it, even saying she will look for this design again. She also felt the tie around the neck would allow for adjustment and give sufficient support for ladies with larger boobs. Just under the lace part, under the boobs is a 25mm lightly elasticated band which my wife said added to the quality feel and wasn’t too tight.

The band gives a nice transition between the lace top and the skirt but it’s made from two pieces of material (back and front) which are stitched together at the side seams. The overlap and stitching are quite bulky and will dig in and leave marks if it’s either too tight or if it’s worn for any length of time although that’s unlikely here!

The skirt falls nicely from the band and finishes just below her sexy bum, not leaving much to the imagination but enough to hide any imperfections around the tummy area (her words not mine).

The length was perfect as far as I’m concerned and the sight of her pert bottom peeping just below the hem is a lovely tease and a taste of what’s to come so to speak.

Unusually, this babydoll doesn’t come with matching knickers but being black, it won’t be hard to match it with a nice sexy pair from the Lovehoney range so make sure you order them at the same time!

My wife tried it on with one of her crotchless thongs, lace top hold-ups and black stiletto boots which soon brought out her dominant streak. She looked amazing and we enjoyed an evening of sexy fun and games with her taking charge as only she can. No complaints from me. All in all a great success and pleased to say my wife loves it. Win-win all round.
