TENGA Air Tech Squeeze Strong Male Masturbator

I hesitated before buying this toy after reading the only other review that had been posted at the time. I was pleased I went ahead as I really like this model.

I’ve had several other TENGAs and it's my favourite brand of solo toys. I found the internal material of this one to be similar to the other Air Tech types.

I like that the case is very light - will be good when we eventually get back to travelling and I also enjoy the squeezable element.

When it comes to toys and our individual enjoyment of them, I think variety really is the spice of life, and this variation definitely hit the spot for me.

Having owned multiple TENGA products in the past, there's one thing I can say about them as a whole.

They are great quality in most cases, the designs of the toy, the charging method, the material, the lubricant... All great.

This toy, however, has some but not all of those features.

The toy comes in a plastic shell case. After unwrapping it you reveal the soft material entry that is akin to most TENGA toys.

The entry of this toy is very nice and soft, wonderful to touch.

However, the inside is not the same story. Traditionally the entire sleeve of TENGA masturbators feels the same throughout, the outside material is the same softness and on the inside. This toy is different.

The stiff textured inside is something I dislike heavily about this toy, not because it's not good enough to do the job, but simply because TENGA do softer toys that do the job far better.

I'll counter a little and say the lubricant included with all TENGA toys is really astounding. It's a very sticky but long-lasting slick feel. It works for so long and can be renewed with a simple trickle of water. This helps with the masturbatory experience, but as I said before, it falls down by how stiff and firm the texture is inside.

Onto the case design:

The toy's name claims that "air" (suction essentially) and "squeezing" are part of the experience. It's true but whether or not it adds anything to the experience could depend on your preference.

The suction hole when fully covered really just makes the toy more uncomfortable to use. Pulling out gets very hard to do and isn't as pleasurable due to the stiff texture.

Slight suction can be possible but is more finicky to achieve, it makes the experience and slight bit better and lets the toy cling onto your penis more, increasing sensation.

The main issue I have with this feature, however, is the case design. Suction does work, but it seems to work to the detriment of the case. Strong suction makes the cheap plastic shell collapse, making it harder to hold and leaves the impression that the design and materials used went through very little testing.

Onto squeezing the toy:

This feature is essentially useless. The case, while it collapses easier (might be the reason why the case is made of the material it's made of), provides very little extra sensation. It's almost as if the case and the sleeve inside aren't the same shape, so the places where you can squeeze the case down doesn't even touch the sleeve inside, making it tighter.

Squeezing without the case is a better experience, but if they meant that that was the way they intended you to squeeze then that is laughable.

All in all, it suffers from not being soft like most TENGA toys. It tries having two gimmicks, but both just get in the way of each other. The squeezing of the case is almost useless because there needs to be air for suction to be created and the suction almost collapses the case because the case needs to be collapsible for squeezing to be a thing.

This toy would work for 90% of men who don't own toys, though, but you can definitely find better value for your money.
