So Lovehoney "the sexual happiness people" Lasso of Love adjustable cock ring, tagged as the bone ranger, is very much in keeping with Lovehoney's own-brand products. The box is well designed and the instructions for use are very clear.

Inside the box the ring/lasso is protected in a sealed clear bag. It’s a very well-made, soft silicone adjustable cock ring that feels very sturdy. Indeed, the release mechanism is not over big and very easy to use it really feels high quality.

It’s easy to put on and is going to be suitable for a very wide selection of girth’s. It’s very easy to tighten or loosen, so getting the perfect fit every time is a nice feature, what I liked most is the versatility. Use it as a cock ring, doughnut ring or if preferred as a ball squeezer.

So we have used this several times and have been extremely happy with the results as a lover of metal rings I won’t say it gave me the most intense restriction, but both myself and the OH are suitably impressed at just how much tension you can put on the adjustable lock.

Lots of sex in lots of positions and I only recall making one adjustment. It kept me hard and vein popping for sure. You do need to watch out for potential skin nipping. It only happened once and I was really pushing the tension, so not faulting the ring as much as my efforts to push this as far as I could.

I will say keep this away from lubes as best you can and forget trying to adjust it if your hands are even slightly wet. I did try this so I could give as full a review as possible. It’s very difficult haha, but we did have a giggle at my efforts to tame the slippery little sucker.

Overall a really fantastic little product for any couple both novice and experienced ring users. It has made it into my top draw as it’s simply very effective, hassle free and versatile.

The product arrived in the discreet packaging that LH are good at. So upon opening this box, I was greeted with a little blue and white box with the LH banding. I have a few items that have this branding and I have always found it very tasteful and quite nice. The ring itself was in a small sealed plastic packaging.

Opening this up, I was able to get a proper feel for the product. It is essentially a big rubber band with a toggle on it. This was where I noticed one downside to the product where the toggle was placed had left and indentation on the band.

Using the product is super easy as you can stretch the band to fit around the shaft and balls, or either of them on their own. The choice is yours for this. I tested it out for an extended period of wear without making it too tight and it was comfortable to wear. Just be careful of the toggle as it is hard plastic.

As for wear during sex, I was able to slip this on and tighten it up. I found that it was difficult to over tighten this, which is a good thing as you don't want it too tight or it will cause pain.

Mrs Mac certainly enjoyed this toy as she commented it was the hardest I had been for a while. So it was a positive experience for us both.

After trying the triple pack of stretchy rings and finding them a bit too stretchy, I thought I'd give this adjustable one a try.

Materials and build quality are great. It takes a bit of effort to adjust given the stretchiness of the band and the firmness of the push button catch.

Personally, I can't say that this does anything for me and I found the 'tails' of the band and the catch irritating.

As with all their toys it came extremely discretely, but unlike most of Lovehoney's toys this one didn't do it for me. It's not that the quality isn't good. Its made well and couldn't be any simpler to use, but the design just doesn't work in my opinion.

It sounds like a really good idea having a cock ring that you can fit to your perfect size, but in reality you just can't get the tightness you would like (or expect) from a cock ring because a) to pull it tight enough risks getting skin caught in the catch for the lasoo and b) the catch is not strong enough to stop the lasoo slowly loosening.

If you are looking for the constricting sensation usually associated with cock rings, I think you would be best off choosing from one of the many other 'traditional' rings available.

On the plus side, it is easy to use, easy to clean and humorous, so may make a good gift for a first foray into your sex toy adventures.
