    1. Product Description

A perfect set of graduated dildo dilators for anyone who wants to try internal play for the first time. Whether you're brand new to sex toys, want to try anal for the first time or are still a virgin, these five silicone protractors ease you in gently.

Each dildo is tapered and curved for smooth, easy insertion that's comfortable and offers gentle expansion with an oh-so tender touch. Designed as a training set to prepare your body for other internal pleasure, this kit takes you all the way from pinky-finger penetration right through to the size of a well-endowed erect penis.

To get the most from your kit (whether using for vaginal or anal exploration) we recommend applying plenty of water-based lubricant to the toy and yourself and slowly teasing the entrance of your chosen orifice with the tip. Apply gentle pressure and allow your body to gradually accept as much length as you feel comfortable inserting.

Stick to mastering one dilator at a time, and only move onto the next step once you're 100% happy and comfortable using the step you're on.

Although these are safe for anal exploration, we don't recommend wearing them as butt plugs due to their non-flared base. Always keep a secure grip on the finger loop when inserting anally.

As well as the above, these dildos are perfect for women with medical conditions which require dilation, and post-op male-to-female gender realignment dilation.

    1. Best purchase ever - made an account just to review this

Reviewed: 19 November 2017 by tenderbuttons, a Bisexual Going Steady Female

I almost cried with relief the first time I used this set - though I had had sex a few times (never without pain/discomfort/ burning sensation), this was the first time I had been able to insert something into myself independently. I had never even been able to insert a tampon by myself. I always tightened up and couldn't bring myself to do it - but these dilators are so silky soft, like kitten paws (even had my roommate feel them - she agrees), and tapered and soft-looking and pink (usually not much of a pink gal myself, but the natural, fleshy/ feminine look is oddly reassuring). The first time, with the smallest dilator and a little lubricant (I used the Yes vaginal moisturising one Lovehoney sells), it slid in almost effortlessly. I couldn't believe it.

For anyone feeling apprehensive, I wanted to share a few tips from my own experience:

      1. Atmosphere. Light some candles, turn down the lights, put on some relaxing music, get into bed and get comfortable. Maybe have a nice warm cup of tea on the bedside table. If you have one, heat up a hot water bottle/bodywarmer in a soft casing and rest this over your vagina - I found the warmth very relaxing. When using the dilator, you could rest this on your lower stomach. Don't worry about time, don't rush, just allow yourself to relax. You don't even have to use the dilators the first time, it's a useful exercise just to learn how to relax your body.

1.5. Regardless of whether you're sure you'll dilate this session, take the dilator and warm it up ready for later (I just put mine in the bed, near the bodywarmer).

      2. Positioning. Lie on your back with your legs apart (but relaxed). Get comfortable. Make sure everything you need is within easy reach. If you have a spare, place a pillow underneath your lower back for support (I didn't have to, but I read that's a good idea). Imagine your hips drifting apart like sandcastles crumbling down in the breeze. Imagine your body is becoming weightless.

      3. Clitoral stimulation. Once you're relaxed, stimulate yourself externally. I used a pebble-shaped vibrator, but whatever floats your ladyboat. Again, no rush. You can stop here if you don't feel you can continue.

      4. Begin. Apply lubricant to both the dilator and yourself. Hold the dilator by the handle and place the tip softly against your vaginal opening. All the while continuing either clitoral stimulation or applying warmth to the area. When, and only when, you feel comfortable to continue, push gently and let it slide in gradually. Pause at any time to allow yourself to adjust. Go at your own pace. Every millimetre you can manage is progress, it's not a failure if you need to stop and resume another day.

      5. When the dilator is in as far as you are comfortable with, leave it in for 10-15 minutes to retrain your pelvic muscles to accept penetration. Lie back and listen to the music, or read a book, whatever you like. Enjoy your success. If you feel comfortable enough, try rotating the dilator gently. When you're done, remove the dilator slowly, take a few minutes to relax/recharge, then clean.

I've only dilated a few times so far (Aunt Irma was in town so had to take a break), and I'm now on the third largest. The more often I've done it, the more confident I've felt and the more I've wanted to do it. Before I got this kit, I couldn't imagine ever being able to put in the smallest piece - I tensed up even at the thought of it - and now I'm ordering sex toys with larger circumferences than the size above the dilator I'm currently on. I have so much confidence in my ability to overcome this (and finally enjoy the sex my crazy high libido actually craves, kind of ironically), thanks to this set! If you are experiencing vaginal tightness, I wholeheartedly encourage you to try this set.

I set the orgasm rating at 3, but that isn't really the point of this product, and I also suspect orgasm may be on the cards either with the larger pieces or with added vibration (waiting on love egg to try and insert in handle).

    2. Overall Rating:
      10 out of 10 stars
Silky soft feel, tapered for easy insertion, flexible, good handle (could potentially accommodate love egg).
      Bottom line
Such a lovely set (my being able to call a penetrative object 'lovely' speaks volumes).

    1. Thank you for helping me with my vaginismus

Reviewed: 06 June 2016 by Recovering_77, a Bisexual Going Steady Female

These dilators have been invaluable to me in my ongoing recovery.

I was nervous to use the more conventional, hard plastic dilators - but these tapered silicone ones are just perfect for me and much less intimidating. They are much more comfortable than I expected.

The loop feature also helps me feel totally in control - which is very important when you have vaginismus.

I will probably continue to use these daily for the forseeable future and am already seeing great improvement.

I would urge anyone who is having symptoms of vagnismus to please go and see your GP for a proper diagnosis (there are many other conditions with similar effects) and find a set of dilators that works for you - this condition is totally treatable.

Thank you LoveHoney for stocking this fab set of dilators!

    2. Overall Rating:
      10 out of 10 stars
Comfortable, easy to use, great shape, good material.
      Bottom line
Very comfortable, easy to use and non-intimidating set of dilators.

    1. Tapered for Success

Reviewed: 28 April 2016 by EmmelinePeaches, a Bisexual Engaged Female

When you’re suffering from a condition such as vaginismus, a good pair of dilators can be literally life-changing. I know because I went through dilator treatment as part of my own recovery from the condition and I will always feel indebted to the kit that my partner purchased for me.

That being said, not all dilator kits are created equal. The most common type of dilator kit looks clinical, is made of hard plastic, and tends to come with an interchangeable handle system which makes the whole process seem a bit daunting at first. With such an intimidating session it can be rather difficult to associate such kits with sexual arousal and enjoyment, even if they can be associated with recovery. When I was using my own amazing-but-clinical kit I did wonder on multiple occasions “why can’t these just be a bit…sexier?”

This is where the Inspire set comes along.

Created to be both effective and (in time) enjoyable, the Inspire Set has an overall aesthetic which just looks more pleasing, unintimidating, and generally appealing. Whether it’s the pastel pink colouration, the gently tapered curve of the shaft, or the conveniently positioned loop at the end, the Inspire Set exudes a sense of reassurance on the road to recovery.

While the colour may not matter much in terms of application, the tapered shaft and its subtle curve do. Compared to typical dilator kits (which tend to have a straight shaft and ease into their girth sooner than the Inspire Set) these dilators looks and feel much more natural in terms of their curve.

New users may be worried that the pointed tip might curve up and scrape against their vaginal walls painfully but I personally found that the curve wasn’t quite sharp enough for this to happen. However, if these dilators do feel uncomfortable at any point then the looped handle makes repositioning them easy and intuitive, giving the user the increased control needed to feel a bit more at ease.

The asymmetry of these curved dilators also allows more confident users to experiment with different positions and pressure. It’s entirely possible to flip the dilator around and see how it feels when used like that or to put a bit of pressure on the vaginal wall and see how that feels when used in conjunction with a clitoral vibrator. After all, if the goal to dilators is to help the user enjoy penetration again then they need to have the potential to be enjoyable and the Inspire Set definitely has this capacity.

Having now recovered from vaginismus, I was able to use these as sex toys (in addition to considering them as dilators) and, I have to say, they’re pretty good. Enough G-spot pressure can be applied so that they help facilitate a respectably fulfilling orgasm. Impressively, though, these orgasms never really felt too forceful or overwhelming for me, which I think is another important factor for people on the road to recovery. The ability to use the Inspire Set for pleasure does mean that they’re also great for newcomers to sex toys, as Lovehoney mention.

I would also be remiss if I didn’t mention the material that these dilators are made out of. As opposed to most dilators (which are made of hard plastic) the Inspire Set is made out of silicone and I personally think that’s amazing. Why? Well, aside from the fact that silicone is non-porous, phthalate-free, hypoallergenic and completely body-safe, it also feels softer, smoother, and generally more receptive than hard plastic. It’s not that these toys aren’t firm (they are) but silicone just feels a bit more forgiving and a bit less rigid than the unyielding surface of hard plastic. The surface of these dilators also has the powdery silken smoothness of a luxury silicone toy which just makes me melt. And, as an added bonus, silicone warms to your body temperature making it feel more in tune with your body.

All of this comes together to make a fantastic set of dilators that I would wholeheartedly recommend.

However, that being said, there is one downside to these dilators which does need considering before you make a purchase in my opinion. While these dilators do all match the given girth near the base of the shaft, their tapered form means that users who don’t insert the full length will not always conquer the full girth. For example, on the largest dilator, the lower section is indeed 4.25 inches in circumference but the mid-section (which is where I would comfortably stop even now) is only 4 inches. This may seem minuscule but when you have vaginismus that .25 inches can mean quite a lot. We’re already conquering girth so I don’t really know how I feel about the dilators needing you to conquer length too if you want the full benefits. This may not bother everyone, so it’s worth considering how you feel about it. It’s a very personal choice after all.

Overall, though, I’m incredibly impressed with these dilators. I get the impression that if they were out when I was struggling with the condition myself then I would have purchased them in a heartbeat and I doubt I would have had any regrets. Heck! I may have even found my G-spot sooner.

      Recommend to:

      People who want silicone dilators.

People who want slightly curved dilators.

People who want an equal focus on pleasure and recovery.

      Do Not Recommend to:

People who prefer hard plastic dilators.

People who need larger dilators (4.25 is a slim stopping point).

People who dislike curved or tapered dilators.

    2. Overall Rating:
      10 out of 10 stars
A wonderfully approachable set of practical and enjoyable dilators.
If you want the full girth you may also need to take the full length.
      Bottom line
I can see these helping a lot of users recover and reclaim their sexual pleasure.
