We have never used any male toys before but we felt it was a good next step. So after some research on the website, we thought the tokidoki range was the least intimidating and looked fun.
The pocket dipper was a great place to start, it has a super soft feel on the outside and it the same inside with the addition of the heart pattern. It is so simple to use, just squirt some of your favourite lube inside. pop on and start stroking.
It was amazing watching my partner falling apart as I used this.

A sexual revelation

This was my first experience with a sex toy for myself, and my lord, I am more than happy with my experience.
The 'pleasure cup', with the addition of lubricant, becomes an amazing self pleasure tool!
I personally have used this both solo and with my girlfriend and neither of us have been disappointed.
This cup can be used repeatedly with proper cleaning and maintenance, and as such, this is a worthwhile purchase for any self-pleasure enthusiast.

A good single use toy

The tokidoki x Lovehoney Pleasure Cup is a soft, penetrable TPE egg housed in a black plastic shell. It doesn't come with lube, which is actually a bonus for me, as I have very particular allergies and some lubes can trigger reactions, but some people may feel this is a negative.
I do feel like the translation of the tokidoki characters to toys works less well for the cup range than the other types of toys in the collection. The texture on this just happens to be the tokidoki logo. There isn't the same level as design as there is for the vibrators in this collection.
However, the texture is well defined - far more defined than Tenga eggs, for example - but because of the TPE material is far less firm than a silicone stroker would be. This may or may not be a benefit to you; I prefer firmer texture so this was a negative for me.
You can use it for multiple uses if you don't rip it, but the number of uses are still limited. It really is designed as a single use toy, and because TPE is porous I would really not recommend using it many times.
