Rene Rofe Floral Lace Suspender Belt

This is my first suspender belt, and I bought it because I wanted a bit more freedom over the underwear that I can wear with my stockings (as opposed to knickers or a basque with suspenders attached).

My order arrived very quickly (actually several days earlier than I was expecting and on Valentine's Day, so these were a lovely present to myself!), and in a discreet parcel, so thanks once again, LH!

The belt comes in a slim cardboard box, which is black and gold and quite stylish, with photos of a model on it. I would say if you're buying this as a gift, it would be nicer to present it wrapped in some nice paper and maybe in a little gift bag, but as I said - I bought this for myself, so the packaging is not a big issue for me.

I really love the belt itself. It feels lovely and soft, yet sturdy, and it seems to be very well made. It does up at the back with bra-style hooks, and there are three different sizes, so it is a little adjustable. I am somewhere between a size 8 and 10 and I went for the S/M, and it fits me very well on the smallest setting.

It looks incredibly sexy on and teamed with my favourite pair of stockings, and I particularly like that it is quite slim and skims my body very closely (without causing any unsightly bulges), so I think you could easily wear this under a closely fitting dress and not have to worry about being able to see it.

I'm really pleased with this purchase. Wearing it makes me feel very sexy and feminine, and I think it is excellent value for money. So, if you're looking for a suspender belt, this is a great choice.

Having never used a suspender belt before, I was excited to receive this product and it is safe to say I was not disappointed!

I received my order just a few days after placing it, which I was very impressed with considering I had ordered during the very busy post-Christmas sale season.

My order arrived in the usual discreet packaging, and the suspender belt came nicely boxed.

The lace material is of good quality, not too flimsy. It is very pretty! It does up with a simple hook and eye, just like a bra strap. I bought the size S/M and I would say it's a perfect fit - I am a size 8 and it's not too loose or tight. I was expecting it to be too big but I was pleasantly surprised! I think this size would also fit a size 10, but possibly be too small for a 12, and too big for a size 6.

The suspender belt looks very sexy on, and is very comfortable to wear!

All in all, I am really pleased with this buy, and think it is very good value for money!

My first Rene Rofe product but definitely not my last - the item didn't disappoint in any way.

First Impressions:

The packaging itself is simple but tasteful, essentially a black cardboard box with the brand logo and photo of a lovely lady modelling the item. A nice step up from some lingerie items that I've had arrive in clear plastic wrapping.

The belt itself feels exquisite and the lace is great quality (it's not the type which has a tendency to tear easily).

In use:

I couldn't wait to try the piece on and thankfully it was really straight forward using the 2 hook fastening on the back! Unlike some other suspender belts I own the straps are wonderfully positioned, I had no bother at all sliding the two on the back into place!

I received this in M/L which is designed to accommodate sizes 12-16, I myself am a size 14 and think it fits just right, any more stretch though and you might get the dreaded muffin top!

Overall this suspender belt really looks the part and did a magnificent job of masking my wobbly tummy areas, I couldn't ask for more!

I hand-washed it a few times as instructed so that I could check that the quality held up, and I can happily report that it didn't feel any less luxurious - it held it's softness and shape very well.

Conclusion:

If you're looking for a sexy new lingerie addition then look no further. I've yet to find another suspender belt which is such superb value for money. Thanks to the black lacy design it's super easy to pair up with a bra and make it look like a matching set, a huge plus for me!
