DOMINIX Deluxe Studded Leather Lockable Female Chastity Belt

I was sent this product as a tester and as always with Lovehoney the packaging was discreet. I love this as it keeps the contents of my parcel private until it arrives at my door. Upon opening the box the product was simply displayed in a clear plastic bag.The first thing that hit me was the pleasant smell of leather when I opened the bag. So I immediately felt reassured that the material would be fairly good quality. After wearing this piece numerous times I am happy to confirm my initial thought was correct. The buckles were also sturdy. Though sometimes it was difficult to slide the prongs of the buckle through the provided holes in the leather. It definitely took a bit of time readjusting the three belts to make everything fit comfortably. Though once I was done adjusting it the belt looked very flattering on me. The studs add a nice touch to the belt so it's not too plain.The belt is quite comfortable to wear. The material never really dug in, even when I sat down (which surprised me). The buckles never really caused me any problems comfort wise either. Although the material was sturdy it was still flexible enough for me to move around without feeling uncomfortable. Will I wear it for an extended amount of time? Probably not. Though I think I could wear it for longer without issue as I've had no problems so far.It definitely had the desired effect of keeping things locked up in regards to penetrative play. However, I found I could still slip my fingers underneath the material that covers the front even when the belt was secured pretty tightly. The padlocks and keys are very easy to use and were effective in keeping the belt locked.

We received this toy as a sample to test in exchange for an honest review. As always, it came in a discreet Lovehoney package, inside a simple plastic bag, ready to be used. I will note the first thing that I liked about it was the psychological effect of it. It arrived on a Thursday night, so on Friday, I left knowing that we’d come back to try it. Thinking about it, and knowing that it would be completely up to my SO to decide when it came off was incredibly arousing for both of us, and I kept thinking about it all day. As a size 12-14, I will say it fit well, with two holes left on each side strap and one on the bottom strap. Therefore, I do not think this would really suit anyone size 8 or below. Once it was on, it felt very secure. We would have liked for it to have more anchor points to attach cuffs, but the o-ring on the back, where all the straps come together serves the purpose well if necessary. Besides, we liked that all the straps are independent, which means the bottom strap can be unattached to put other toys in place without the whole belt having to come off. My SO thought it looked incredibly sexy, especially because the straps emphasise the buttocks quite a bit. Through the week, we tried it with no toys, with a couple of different dildos, and with a we-vibe. Having done that, I think it is fair to say that this would definitively not serve someone trying to experiment with serious chastity play. The belt is loose enough that you can actually slide your fingers underneath. Therefore, unless it is coupled with handcuffs, it does not completely prevent access to anything. Given that we weren’t really looking for something long term, but for something a bit lighter, this suited us quite well. The simple fact of having the belt on while someone is turning you on is quite powerful: one simply cannot forget that one is being denied until it comes off. That being said, I can say the belt is way more effective if it is put on once the sub is aroused, rather than starting from zero. We particularly liked the combination with the we-vibe, which is a toy that on its own tends to move out of the way. However, with the belt keeping it in place, even slight movements while they vibe was off were very arousing. Having used it with a couple dildos too, I would advise against using it with a model without a wide base, as it can slide off and actually pinch the labia between it and the belt. The main negative point against it is that it starts chaffing quite quickly for a toy that would usually be meant to be used over several hours. Every time we used it, it had to come off after about 30 minutes because it became quite painful. That is a big downside for any toy, but even more so for one meant for chastity play. All in all, we really enjoyed it, but more as a way to secure remote-control toys in place, rather than as a standalone item. The verdict: it will definitively be kept in the collection, but mostly to be used with other toys over short periods of time.

Really nice belt, comfortable and plenty of room for adjustment. The three padlocks come with two keys each. The belt holes are a little tight so might be a little awkward to adjust it while it's on until it's a bit more worn in. I imagine it will soften up a bit with use, especially as at the moment it's a bit too stiff between the legs to be comfortable, but I've only worn it once so far.
