It’s the biggest event of the summer and the thing that’s got everyone talking – that’s right, it’s Lovehoney’s Big O Games.

11 countries, eight events, two surveys, only one winner.

Judged on events like the Hornyquestrian, Bedroom Relay, and more, it’s our great pleasure to announce SPAIN as the Big O Games Champions.

We looked at our two most recent global surveys, from 2023 and 2022, to compile a list of events that take place in the bedroom and find out who is really the sexiest nation.

Here are the Big O Game events:

• Hornyquestrian (libido rating)
• Sa-Discus-faction (sexual satisfaction)
• Bedroom relay (most sex)
• Hand(y)ball (most masturbation)
• Mile High Jump (masturbating on a plane)
• Swimming (masturbation in the shower or bathtub)
• Surfing (most lube used)
• Backminton (most anal sex)

As it turns out, Spain is having the best sex overall. We looked at each nation as a whole, as well as the results for men and women individually, and found that Spain was top of the table in both.

Midtable Mediocrity

Unfortunately, the United Kingdom was found wanting, coming in 6th overall. We also uncovered on the way that (barring Australia) we are having the WORST sex out of everyone in the world, with only 37% of us being satisfied with our sex lives.

Similarly, our libido was found wanting – in the Hornyquestrian we came 9th overall, with an average rating of 6.15. This was largely down to our women however, who claim an average libido rating of 5.52 out of 10, while the men had a slightly higher one of 6.81.

I must say it is a bit concerning to see sexual satisfaction at an all-time low here in the UK – I think we all need to listen to each other a little better about what we want and like in the bedroom, or failing that perhaps we should book a flight to Spain!”

Spanish dominance

The Spanish victory in the Big O Games was no feat of luck – both their men and women won five gold medals. The men came first in the Hornyquestrian (libido rating), Sa-Discus-faction (sexual satisfaction), Hand(y)ball (most masturbation), the Bedroom Relay (most sex), and Swimming (masturbation in the shower or bathtub).

Spanish males rated their libido a massive 7.61 out of 10, while 58% of them are having sex at least once a week. And largely good sex too, as 57% of them claim to be satisfied with their sex life.

Meanwhile, the Spanish women’s team came first in Sa-Discus-faction, Hand(y)ball, Bedroom Relay, Swimming, and Surfing (most lube used). 61% claim to be satisfied with their sex life, while an impressive 79% have used lubricant before.
