The first thing that you notice about the ball gag is its appearance. A lot funkier and more attractive than the usual black or red. The holographic pink material looks fantastic, it makes it more fashionable. Would look great with your more colourful outfits, especially PVC.

The ball has plenty of holes to allow you to breathe easily, and nice and solid to hold in your mouth. It does move along the strap it is on. The two straps are sturdy, with 9 holes so will fit the full range of head sizes. The stud fastenings are nice and secure. We have given them a good tug. Sturdy metal D-rings and metal buckle complete the gag.

Good quality material and put together really well, good stitching, no loose threads. Really nice to wear with a submissive feminine look. If you like your fun kinky, and like the feminine touch, this is the ball gag you need.

Myself and my partner had never used a gag before but decided we wanted to try it. After looking on the website at a fair few I landed on this one which seems to sit in the medium size range.

I was very excited about its arrival and tried to put it on as soon as it arrived but it didn’t fit at all! I couldn’t even get it to nearly fit it was massive for me! Thinking this must just be too big a toy. I gave it to my partner to try and he fit it in with 0 issues. It turns out I just have an abnormally small mouth.

My partner used it for a while and said it was comfortable enough but he was very uneasy about how hard the plastic was, there is no bite to it at all and he was worried if we were using it during sex it might have caused some discomfort.

I did love the design of it though and it would make a good addition to other people's box but sadly not mine.

Lovehoney kindly sent this gag to me to test and review. It is pretty, a decent size so as to muffle noise and make the wearer feel vulnerable while not causing jaw ache, and very reasonably priced. I would recommend this gag to anyone wanting to experiment with gags; it would make an excellent starter gag, or introduction into BDSM.

As is always the case with Lovehoney, it arrived ridiculously quickly in discreet packaging, even during the COVID-19 pandemic; as ever, it is impossible to fault the Lovehoney service.

The product was in a clear plastic bag with a black Bondage Boutique sticker on it. For a brand self-described and marketed as a luxury BDSM outlet, some people may find this a bit disappointing, but the packaging was always going to end up in the bin with me, so I didn't care. On opening the smell there was no nasty chemical or artificial smell, but also no wonderful leather smell that you get with more high-end BDSM products.

The product is exceptionally well made. It is made of faux-leather and a glorious high-shine metallic-pink material with nice neat stitching and two strong black metal half-rings. The whole gag has a length of 27 inches. The buckle mechanism is made of sturdy metal and is really easy to do up and undo. There are a large number of buckle holes, which mean the gag should accommodate all size heads and allow for comfortable wearing. The straps feel a little sharp against the corners of the mouth, and can cause a little discomfort. Some people may not like this, but I found it added to the feeling of being submissive.

The actual ball gag is 5.5 inches in circumference and 1.75 inches in diameter. This means it is a large enough size to muffle noise and make the wearer feel submissive, but, if you have used gags before, not so large as to cause jaw ache, unless worn very long periods of time. However, if it is your first gag, it may feel strange to have in your mouth to begin with and initially make your jaw ache; with a gag this small, this will likely pass after your first few uses. As it's keeping your mouth so far open there is quite a lot of drool, which I found really hot. Though whoever is wearing the gag can still make noises, they are mostly muffled, and there is absolutely no chance of words being said, which really adds to the effect of giving up control. Whenever using a gag, always make sure that it’s removed slowly and gently, and the jaw and mouth are gentle massaged after use.

Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone who was interested in gags, although if you have a particularly small mouth this may not be for you.

This ball gag is made from solid plastic with breathable holes, and the straps are made from a non-leather material, which is fantastic.

This gag has a very girly look to it as it is a lovely metallic pink colour which is very pretty. There is no odour or taste to either the ball gag itself or the straps.

This is a very chunky and sturdy gag. The holes on the straps are re-enforced with black eyelets, which is great as the holes won’t get worn out or stretch. It also has 2 black metal D-rings either side of the ball, which enable you to attach various bondage accessories, like a lead, nipple clamps or ropes etc. This gag is really built to last.

The whole ball gag has a total length of 27 inches. The ‘ball’ is 5.5 inches in circumference and 1.75 inches in diameter.

This ball gag is breathable, which makes it great if you are looking for something a little less threatening, but due to its size and the fact that it is made from solid plastic I feel would really suit advanced users.

When wearing this gag please note that, due to being made from plastic, you are not able to bite down onto the ball,without causing damage to your teeth. I did find that this gag felt very safe when wearing as I could breathe very easily through it at all times.

The ball part is a medium size, so not unpleasantly large in your mouth, but again is more difficult to wear due to the solid plastic material having no give. Please be aware also that if you wear this ball gag for long periods of time you will get jaw ache, so maybe build up slowly. When removing this or any gag after extended periods of use, take your time closing your mouth afterwards and gently massage your jaw to help it relax.

Wearing a gag like this, it is inevitable that you will be drooling - and with the number of holes in this gag it is difficult to fully clean and dry it, so take extra care with this. Also, I found the straps quite heavy duty and the edges were a little sharp, making it less comfortable around my face.

Overall, this is a really pretty, but I do feel that this a more intermediate/advanced, heavy duty breathable gag due to the size and hardness of the plastic ball, which has no give. Just remember to play safe and have fun!
