Poisoned Apple Princess Costume Bralette and Knickers Set

Ok, I’m a huge Disney fan, in fact, a huge Snow White nut, so this was a must buy for me!

So, firstly I ordered M, but have lost lots of weight recently, I had this set sitting unopened for a while and then realised I would really need the S. So of course, printed the return label and sent the unopened set back and this was exchanged for an S with no problems at all - very easy process indeed and fantastic customer service!

So onto the review of the set, you all know how the parcel arrives, so I won’t go into that. Really nice box (so would work as a gift), and on opening, it was inside a clear plastic bag. The colours are true to the pictures used by LH, a rich red, lemon and deep royal blue (perfect Snow White colours)!

I took it from the packaging and I’ll be honest, it did feel a little flimsy (but remember, it’s all lace and some mesh on the thong). I did look at it and remember thinking how the heck am I gonna work this one out (I’ll come to that a little later)! The lace felt soft to the touch and honestly, the set seemed well put together, stitching was all fine.

Ok, so sizing, to give you an idea I’m normally between a 6/8 with 32DD bust. So the S fits me perfectly.

Now, to try it on... Well, it really wasn’t that difficult if I’m completely honest! I laid the set out on the bed and thought I would tackle the bra first. It’s really not too bad at all when it was laid out I could see exactly how it should go, so easy enough to get on really. It’s all tie as well, so fully adjustable.The white lace collar sat perfectly on me (and I have a normal neck length). The bra sat lovely on the bust too, no gaping at all and you can adjust the coverage as the bra allows for this - I, however, didn’t need to.

One major flaw though, the label, right in the cup. This is the only thing taking away from the look, but can easily be snipped. Although on saying that, because of the way it is stitched into the cup a little bit of label will always be there, which is disappointing, to be honest.

Onto the thong, perfect fit and beautiful mesh right around with gorgeous lace detailing at front and back. Seems to be well made and good fit - but again, the label, right at the back where the beautiful lace is, but like I said earlier, a quick snip and it’s gone, not completely as it is sewn into bra & thong, but not the end of the world.

Lastly the garter, it was also a good fit for me and it was well made, but yet again, another label!

So overall the set is just beautiful, colour, style, material, fit - I love it!

As a previous reviewer had said about washing, I can’t comment on this yet, as I only tried it on to write this review of the product.

I was so so happy with this product.

It looked stunning in the picture and looks stunning on once I'd worked out which straps went where with the top half! My partner loved it too and we had a couple of fun evenings in it.

But as soon as I washed the knickers they faded and now look rubbish next to the still bright yellow garter. So be careful when washing! But a gorgeous set none the less.

Echoing a previous review, there was a little confusion on how to get in to it while working out the straps and having to refer to the picture for help, but that's no big deal really. It is however vibrant and a cute set. I can't yet comment regarding the previous review suggesting they fade with the first wash as I've yet to get around to that, but I am assured they're really comfy to wear though.

My main bug bare however if I'm being brutally honest is that obviously the model in the photo has been picked for a reason to make the best out of the lingerie. There is zero bust support and the lace doesn't sit quite as nicely as it does on her (so I'm assuming it wouldn't be too harsh to point out) fake bust. If you're in any way busty and rely on support to keep them in place, these may not be as flattering on as you hoped.
