Marc Dorcel Geisha Ball Large Butt Plug with Ruby Red Crystal

Was lucky enough to exchange an item which didn't suit me for this little number. Lovehoney service made exchange simple and fast.

This 'jewel' arrived in the usual box, but also comes with its own storage bag - nice touch.

This plug is pretty both as it is, and certainly in situ. It is a very easy size to insert, using the obligatory lube, and feels very comfortable once in place. I could instantly feel the movement of the internal ball when I started moving around - nice.

Then, as I was also modelling another new dress I had recently purchased, hubby joined me. As if the dress wasn't enough, his reaction when I bent over and flashed my new jewellery was instant.

This is not huge but widens quickly, not much in the way of tapering so it may prove difficult to insert if you're a beginner. I inserted it fairly easily with only a very small amount of water-based lube and, boy, did it feel good! The very slim neck means that it stays put extremely well and actually takes a fairly good tug to remove it. The secret to inserting anal plugs/toys is to teach yourself to really relax and push out slightly when inserting. This sounds a bit contradictory, pushing out when you're trying to push something in, but it really does work. The lube didn’t dry out during use and removing the plug wasn't difficult.

The ruby crystal looks lovely but is definitely rather more on the pinkish side than red (if you're a guy it may be better to go for the clear crystal option if you consider pink to be a girly colour).

I inserted it to surprise hubby and we both love how pretty it looks. Although, as previously mentioned, it’s not huge, it does give a really good full, stretched feeling and sits very comfortably. I love my plug being played with and when hubby started to turn this and move it gently it felt amazing and made me orgasm quickly, almost too quickly!

This is now my new best friend. I can take much bigger toys anally but they don’t feel as good as this. The shaping does mean that it may be too difficult to insert for a beginner but if you're an intermediate or experienced anal player you're going to love this.

It is perhaps a bit more expensive than some plugs but with this you really do get what you pay for.

I have two kinds of toy that I can't seem to get enough of. One is dildos. The other is butt plugs. For some reason I enjoy owning several plugs of all varying shapes and sizes, so was delighted to be able to add this to my collection.

My first thought when I opened my parcel was, "is that it?". Even though it describes itself as 'large', I don't consider it large when compared with other plugs. I would describe more more as a 'medium' or 'average'. If you are experienced with plugs, the chances are this will do very little for you, with one exception that I'll get to later. If you're a beginner, you may find it a little thick for your first toy. It's quite short, but it thickens really quickly so could be a bit difficult to get in if you're not sure what you're doing.

The good thing about it being short, however, is that it can be worn for fairly long periods of time before becoming uncomfortable. With some of the longer plugs it can become uncomfortable after a few minutes, but my girlfriend was able to wear this plug for an hour or so without it hurting or her needing to apply more lube.

If you're experienced, there is a saving grace to it. Inside the plug is a little ball bearing that rolls around as you move for constant stimulation, always shifting the way of the toy. It feels very pleasant. It would also make a very good vanity toy because of the crystal on the end. Perfect for surprising your partner with when they come home from work or the like. Usually butt plugs end with a ugly handle so having a pretty crystal is great if you want to turn on your other half.

The material of the toy is very nice, and overall the build quality is very high. It feels good in the hand and even comes with a small discreet satin bag for easy storage or transport. The material also works well with most lube types and, as stated above, can be used for long periods of time without the lube drying out (obviously this will vary depending on the lube type).

I would say this product is perfect for two types of people. People who would describe themselves as intermediates when it comes to anal play, or people who enjoy anal and would like something sexy to use instead of other, plainer plugs.

Would definitely recommend to people who fall into these groups or people who want to add this to their collection. All-round a very solid product.
