At last a book that deals with real fantasies, expertly written.

Nichi has dealt with the subject in the most erotic and descriptive way imaginable.

This book is no novel, these are real situations and experiences, the sort of never before written about in such a book.

      Here's to the sequel!

    1. The real deal

Reviewed: 12 December 2012 by PlumCake, a Straight Going Steady Female

Since Fifty Shades of Grey burst into our lives most people will admit to knowing at least something about BDSM. Most people will agree they know what Dominants and Submissives are, and lots of them have probably had a go at something within their relationship or with a sexual partner.

The thing I loved about this book is that it did so much more than explain how BDSM works within a loving relationship. Domination, as it exists in the commercial market, is a lucrative business, and although many people know that men pay Dominatrix women to 'punish' them in their dungeons, I for one didn't really know the ins and outs of what goes on behind those closed doors.

The book starts like many others, with a beginning, and we're introduced to Nichi and her impossibly delicious Greek. Their relationship is near perfect, but when things don't work out Nichi meets a Dominatrix who asks for her assistance.

I loved reading about the kinds of clients they met, how much money they made and, above all, all the things they did. It was incredibly interesting to learn about the real life fetishes, fantasies and acts the clients requested, and how far the employed Dominant would go.

Reading this novel was like reading a really good-quality and fetish-themed gossip magazine, interspersed with hot sex and steamy fantasies. What really topped it off for me was that it wasn't a rosy, perfect view of BDSM like Fifty Shades can be, and the characters go through very real heartbreak.

I'd really recommend Bound To You - it's the second piece of erotica I've ever read (apart from the FSOG trilogy) and I loved it. It's very different from Fifty Shades, but in a good way.

Informative, educational, arousing and above all it made me jealous as hell! Now where are all these kinky men hiding...

Perfect mixture of sexy, informative and funny!
      Cons
      Nothing - except I'm jealous!
      Bottom line
A great insight into the world of Domming

    1. Not a bad read

      CONTAINS SPOILERS.

I received this book as a free tester so read it fairly quickly so as to get it read and reviewed ASAP!

Overall it was a good read, but personally I don't think it concentrated on the subject it is advertised to be about. It is well written, but does not mention much about her or his emotions - or focus on what it is sold to focus on.

The title and description imply that it is similar to 50 Shades in that there's the damaged man, the woman who sets him straight and the BDSM sex in between. However, the damaged man only appears towards the end and so does not get much 'screen-time', as it were and the woman who sets him straight... Well, doesn't. The sex scenes are fairly few and far between when you consider the material the book is written about.

All in all, it was well written but not strictly about what it is described as being about - 50 Shades is much more sex-focused, whereas Bound To You is more about her experiences.

A fairly good read but not entirely my cup of tea.

    2. Overall Rating
      7 out of 10 stars
      Pros
      Well written.
      Cons
Description gives alternative idea of content.
      Bottom line
Not bad, opinions will differ depending on person.

    1. Worthwhile read but lacks emotion

      Reviewed: 26 December 2012 by tinks18

I received this product as a free tester and couldn't wait to start reading. Perfect before Christmas when I was heading home (in the middle of nowhere) and so started reading in front of a fire. I have read the 50 Shades of Grey books and have experimented in a few different types of bondage with the OH but wouldn't consider myself an expert by any means!

Initially the books draws the reader in by painting a 'perfect couple' scenario except it was frustrating to read as it was obvious that the male in question wasn't the dominating type. The writer has left parts out - I was left wondering what on earth happened to her in a toilet in a club? Seems like she didn't know what had happened either.

** SPOILER ALERT ** The parts of the book I enjoyed the most were when Nichi became a dominatrix and what it was exactly that she got up to with her clients. There was none of the repetitiveness of words like there was in 50 Shades (he touched my sex anyone?!) so the description of the most interesting parts was well written and painted a perfect picture for me!

I read this book in two days. It's not a long book nor is it fast pacing either so I can see how someone could get bored if they had to keep putting it down.

The male which is meant to be like Christian Grey is nothing like him in the slightest. I didn't feel enough was said about his feelings nor Nichi's feelings throughout the book.

It is a good book, but if you have a busy life to lead I think you would get bored and the 'Christian Grey' advert on the front is not that true to life!

    2. Overall Rating
      7 out of 10 stars
      Pros
      Easy and quick to read.
      Cons
The advert about Christian Grey on the front makes it obvious it's a 'dirty' book!
      Bottom line
A good read for someone who wants the dirty parts but not the emotional connection.

    1. Slow to get into

Reviewed: 03 October 2013 by blonde vixen13, a Straight Married Female

As my title suggests, I found this book very slow to get into. I kept putting it down and coming back a few days later, hoping it was just my frame of mind that was stopping me from becoming absorbed in the storyline like I usually do with books.

The start of the book tells of Nichi's relationship with her Greek boyfriend. I found this a waste of time as he never appeared again plus there was a lot of Greek words used, which did not really add anything to the storyline in my opinion.

Once it got to the BDSM parts I did find myself much more interested. It describes BDSM in a more realistic way compared to how books such as the FSOG trilogy have portrayed it. It was interesting to get a glimpse of real life situations that Dom and Subs experience, however I would have liked to read more about the emotions these situations aroused in the characters.

Overall it's not a bad read. I did find some parts enjoyable and even a little humorous, however it didn't make me want to read the book from cover to cover in one go!

    2. Overall Rating
      6 out of 10 stars
      Pros
Not too long a book. Any longer and I think I would have been bored.
      Cons
Too much time wasted on background story at the start.
      Bottom line
      Okay read.
