Tie me up!
Reviewed: 15 August 2008 by Shay_S
I have to admit, I was skeptical of Bondage Tape when I first read about it, but the promise of a non-sticky, re-usable tape did make me curious. I kinda expected it to be about as sticky as a post-it note and didn’t expect it to hold up under pressure - boy was I wrong.
When I opened up the package, I realized that what was on the role was actually a thin strip of plastic. You cut the “tape” to the lengths you want, bind it around your partner(s), and press it against itself to make it stick.
I was genuinely impressed with this bondage tape, it was super easy to use and definitely lives up to it’s promises. I also really liked that it was reusable (unlike sticky bondage tapes). I was impressed with how well it stuck to itself too: it comfortably and securely held my wrist to my calf - even in the air - and yet I was able to escape with little difficulty when I’d had enough. Even just an inch overlap will hold pretty darn securely. Also, since it’s not sticky, you can use this “tape” with furniture without leaving sticky residue or ruining the finish.
He appreciated that he didn’t have to worry about the tape pulling out the hair on his arms and legs (since it’s non-sticky). He also says that he had fun figuring out different ways to tie me up.
I guess it was a bit of a hassle to have to bring scissors and cut the tape since it couldn’t be ripped by hand; but once you have a few strips cut you’re pretty set because you can use them over and over.
