Makes for a sweet bath

I ordered the Pina Colada bath bomb in the Love Honey sale; it was actually my third choice, the other 2 selling out between my choosing them and checking out. But at only 50p I figured it didn't matter which one I tried.
The packaging is cute and quality but I have to say I didn't think it would be so small! I rarely buy bath bombs but had seen them in shops about the size of tennis balls and these are golf ball sized. But it didn't have to be big I found out as the scent is powerful.
The pina colada scent is a bit sweeter than I like but I got used to it and it did smell lovely and tropical. It made a nice fizz when it went into the water and there was no gritty residue that some leave behind. After a long lounge my skin felt a little oily, but not after I got out of the bath and dried, then it just felt soft.
I love Good Vibrations stuff, I’m glad I tried this product and it was certainly worth the price
- softens water and skin, cute packaging
- A bit too cloying a scent for me
- Bottom line
- A bargain at the price and I'd love to try other scents

Not for the Lush Customers

I love bath bombs. Really, really love them. I use one at least once a week, usually more. So I know from which I speak when I say...this isn't a great bath bomb.
The problem really is the fragrance--rather than using more expensive essential oils, they used more artificial means to scent the bomb. That gives you a bath that is very top-heavy in the perfume, but fails to scent your skin for the long-lasting effect that is half the point of using a bath bomb. It also cuts down on the longer-term moisturizing effects.
As part of a gift or as a way to start a romantic evening, this is a great item. If you're going to go on to use massage oils or flavored lubes, you won't mind that the scent doesn't last as long--perhaps you'll even appreciate it. But if you wanted to get a bath bomb just as a treat for yourself, this one probably isn't the one for you.
- The scents available are unique and a lot of fun. They are adorably wrapped and make a nice inclusion to a bigger gift set.
- They just don't use good enough materials. People who take a lot of quality baths will know immediately that they didn't use the top-shelf essence oils.
- Bottom line
- A nice top up to an evening or gift package, but doesn't really stand on its own.
