Laveila's review of Vibe Therapy Tantric 7 Function Silicone Angled Vibrator

Very enjoyable vibe

I bought this when it was part of the Petite Couture Collection during the Christmas Lovehoney sale so I cannot comment on the current packaging.

First impression:

When I took the vibe out of its case and saw it, I was and still am impressed by its look. The white-silver combination makes it look very luxurious! It has a curved end for G-spot stimulation and unusually shaped end. It is made from silicone. Unlike some other vibes, it is not silicone on hard material underneath but the body itself is made from silicone. The silicone feels amazing on skin, the vibe is a bit bendable and squeezey - but that can be a plus - and it can be easily held in your hand.

Getting started:

You need 2 AAA batteries with the vibe. To insert them, you need to unscrew the cap at the bottom. The first few times it was a bit tricky trying to open the battery compartment, but after few uses you know how to do it (I always remove batteries after use). One battery goes + size up, the other down. You get the signs there to guide you. If inserted them incorrectly, you will not be able to close the cap back on. Make sure it is on tight as the toy is fully waterproof (tested it in the shower myself).

Operation is easy. There are 2 buttons. The one with circle switches the vibe on - which goes red when you do, so you know it is on and ready. The other switches on vibrations. There are 7 settings to choose from - 3 continuous vibrations, which increase in speed, and 4 modes.

The modes:

- Escalating, goes from mild vibrations to stronger

- Medium-fast pulsation

- Fast pulsation

- Few fast pulsations followed by slower and bit longer pulse

To go through the settings you circle through them using the button with the wave. The settings go in a circle, so the vibe will not switch off after the 7th function. To switch the vibe off you use the same button you use to switch it on. The vibrations are concentrated in the tip, but they travel trough the vibrator well, and it is quiet for the power it provides.

Using the vibe:

The vibrator is not the strongest I ever felt, but it is decently strong and unless you are a power queen it should be strong enough for you. The vibe is soft and firm at the same time, which makes it great for people who may not enjoy too firm a toy (like plastic, metal or glass) for penetration. I enjoy it for insertion during solo play, either without vibrations or with. I sometimes let it rest against my G-spot with the escalating setting on or the lowest constant vibrations. It does not sit too firmly against my G-spot and it would be very hard to push it against it, so I bought another vibe which I think would be a bit better for the job, but I still will enjoy this one. I enjoy the combination of the vibe against my G-spot and a bullet on my clitoris, it makes the orgasms more satisfactory for me.

When I try to use it for clitoral stimulation it is less effective than a bullet vibe for me as I like strong concentrated vibrations to finish me in the end. I can orgasm using this vibe but it takes me longer or I need to be in a bit more sensitive period. But I believe that someone more sensitive or someone not enjoying strong clitoral stimulation may love this vibe.

I also use the vibe on the lowest setting to tease my partner and he enjoys it. Considering how classy the vibe looks I dare to say it may be safe to use with your partner. It is also not too big for him to feel threatened by its size.

Because the vibrator is waterproof, cleaning is very easy under running water.

Overall:

Well made, quiet, waterproof vibrator which is firm enough for penetration but also soft enough not to make it painful for those who don’t enjoy a hard toy inside them. I dare to say it is especially suitable for someone who is less used to toys and is just discovering the joy of them. It may be a bit too weak for a real power queens, though.
