      I bought this for my lady friend to use on me in BDSM games which start with me getting TIGHTLY bound and gagged. It was one of four toys purchased at the same time - this being one of the three that I’d rate at 10/10. Lovehoney toys really are excellent quality, amazingly inexpensive and promptly delivered.

      Anyway, this particular toy is not dissimilar from some I‘ve owned in the past. The big difference being that to get this level of quality I used to pay THREE to FOUR times as much. The construction is excellent, two strips of leather, with some sort of stiffener between them, held together all the way round with smooth metal studs.

      And it really is quite painful, in the nicest possible way. To give it a numerical value, on a scale of 1 to 5 (with 1 being too mild and 5 being too painful) it’s a mid 3.

      This is a firm leather spanker with smooth studs. It is quite firm in the hand and delivers anything from a 'warm up' to a painful sting. For us it is a prelude to something a bit more whippy, but I would say it is good for a beginners slappy thing right up to a nice addition to a serious dom's arsenal.

      We have only been into spanking for a little while now and this is the first paddle we have tried.

      When it arrived I was rather pleased (it arrived the next day, delivery times are great). It looked good and I liked the fact it had the studs. I tried it on my hand at first and it had a bit of a sting to it, so I was a bit nervous.

      When we used it (him on me) we both liked it. We started gently and it gives a nice tap. Then we tried it a little harder and it makes a good slapping noise and feels rather good.
