    1. First lube I liked

Reviewed: 19 February 2015 by TheVelvetSphynx, a Bisexual Married Female

I had tried many (MANY) brands and types and consistencies of lube in my few years around, but had always found that they are sticky, end up in little "lube crusties" all over the place, and don't exactly do the job I want them to.

And then came the Sassy Sliquid bum lube. Lord almighty, what a delight. A bottle of this stuff was reassuringly pressed into my sweaty little palm as I explained that the butt plug in my other hand was "the first anal toy I will ever try help." And help it did.

Once I got some product on my fingers, I could feel that it was a lot more slippery than I'd felt before. Almost like the real stuff! Though the lube is meant to be for anal play, I found it to be quite universal for me.

It was actually the best feeling lube that had ever graced my party bits. It was slippery! It wasn't at all sticky! And it didn't smell like candy! This was a huge deal to me, seeing as I am allergic to anything heavily scented and super sweet smelling lubes make me cringe/my throat close up just a bit.

The fact that the Sliquid lube is all natural is another perk. It's often hard to find something this natural and effective without resorting to plain vegetable oils (but that's boring).

Anyhow, I've rambled enough. But I'll never stop rambling about Sliquid's Sassy lube to anyone who asks! Amazing for it's intended (anal) use, and excellent as a universal lube. Worth every penny for a sensitive lady like me :)

      Pros
      Natural, very slippery, multi-use, scent-free.
      Cons
The fact that it doesn't come in "infinite" size.
      Bottom line
Fantastic lube for booty love, and works for the rest, too!

    1. Gloopy goodness

After many years of experimenting with different types and formulas of lube (one thick for anal, one water-based for silicone toys, one silicone-based for in the shower...), I finally discovered Sassy in 2012, and have honestly not needed a different lubricant since.

It's thick enough that it's good for anal, but also wet enough that it spreads around easily for anything else, and water-based, so once it dries it doesn't leave an unpleasant residue. And unlike silicone lubricants, it does eventually dry, so if you spill a pool of it in the bathtub you won't slip in it the next day.

It works well with every toy I've tried it with (glass, plastic, wood, silicone, vibrating) and is great for masturbation (regardless of genital configuration) since it doesn't dry out too quickly in air. It also doesn't really taste of anything - It's possibly slightly fruity-tasting (a bit like as if you'd eaten a sour sweet earlier in the day), but not so much that it's more noticeable than the taste of whatever (or whomever) you're licking.

A 255ml bottle lasts me about three months, and that's using it both professionally and privately, so a little bit really does go a long way.

Also, although Sassy and Ride are essentially the same product (just in different bottles), I'd recommend Sassy over Ride for anyone with hand-strength or dexterity problems, as the shorter, thicker bottle is easier to grip and squeeze.

And on top of all this, it's completely free from sugar, animal products, and parabens, so it's really unlikely to cause sensitivities or infections. It's cellulose-based as well, so it's very close in feel to the "lotion" available in Japan, and fairly famous now for being the kind of lube used in "lotion play" and live-action tentacle flicks (which I worked out after comparing a bottle of this to a bottle of Japanese lubricant - I'm not just guessing).

This is by far my favourite lubricant of all time.

Everything. Consistency, ease-of-removal, compatibility with both partners and toys, versatility. Everything!
      Cons
The marketing is a bit cringeworthy.
      Bottom line
Everyone should try this lubricant at least once. It's perfect.

    1. Best anal lube of all

Reviewed: 30 December 2014 by Postillionager

This is probably our favourite anal lube of all. It is rather runny, but it's clear, odourless, hypoallergenic, feels lovely, silky and soothing, and works perfectly.

The product design is totally innocuous so it can be left on a dressing table or bedside cabinet amongst other make up or toiletries without any worries. It is also nice to know that this product has been developed by women, for women, although it works just as well for fellas.

On those odd sessions when you want to go a bit further than usual, this often does the trick in helping you take something extra without any discomfort.

Nothing; it's runny not thick, but that's fine by me.
      Bottom line
Sweet and innocent looking, an excellent product for beginners and advanced users alike.

    1. Certainly sassy

I’ve been very lucky, and have never thought about using lube as I’ve always been blessed with an adequate supply of nature’s own!

However, hormonal changes over the last year or so, mean I’ve become drier, which led me to try out a few lubes. I tried Durex et al, but in all honesty none of them felt natural, and I didn’t like the idea (or sensation) of putting so many chemicals in such an intimate area.

Sliquid has a nice consistency, doesn’t evaporate too readily and feels natural. This may be formulated for anal play, but I use it for everything and it does the job superbly!

      Cons
      I don't like the new packaging - that's all!

Excellent. Odour-free, nasty-free and close to natural lubrication.

There was lots of anal play lubes on Lovehoney - some more expensive, a few less pricey but much smaller.

This, in my opinion, is quite a large bottle that is going to last ages. Not only because of the size but the fact that the product quality is much greater that you don't have to use anywhere near as much of this compared to others on the market.

It has a thick but smooth consistency that's not sticky at all and washes off easily with water.

Very nice to use, makes anal play a lot easier and very comfortable even for beginners.

You only need to apply a small amount, and it doesn't dry out for a long time.

No bad odour from the lube, which is always a bonus.
