Me, however, I went for it. Placed one either side of my nipple (holding on to them both tightly as they are mega powerful!) And made sure there was enough skin to stop them rolling together (could cause a skin scrape/bruise!). They pulled so hard on my nipple it was hard, sore and pleasantly painful in less than a second!

These are amazing. We are very used to using nipple clamps but wanted something to really test my boyfriend.

I was sucked in by their charm and could not resist the thrill of purchasing them. As usual, Lovehoney delivered promptly and in discreet packaging, leaving me the pleasure of emptying out my parcel's contents to prioritise in which order they should be explored.

Obviously on this occasion, being particularly intrigued by the marvel of these magnetic orbs they were given my immediate attention. They almost called out to me to be chosen first due to the attractive purpose made, clear-fronted display box showing them in all their innocent glory.

Setting aside for the moment the other toys in my order, I left hurriedly for the privacy of my bedroom. Quickly disrobing sufficiently to allow access to the various planned areas for their application, I set about my mission, undeterred by the many words of warning in the reviews on the Lovehoney site. Thinking to myself,they had to be exaggerated, I recklessly proceeded to open the package.

My God! The fright I got in disbelief as the orbs instantly leapt together the split second the clear plastic lid was removed. To witness this reflex action for myself made my heart skip a beat and made me reflect on my misplaced bravado in being so reckless. Nonetheless I was still prepared to continue with my planned mission, albeit more tentatively. I first tried to copy the demonstration online showing the orbs sitting either side of the hand. Indeed this worked easily and proved the magnets power, so I moved on to my next step.

Choosing to brave testing them as nipple clamps, I carefully placed them either side of one nipple and even as they came closer to my skin I felt them pull strongly then spring together with more force than any clamps I had ever tried.

The immediate pain due to the magnetic force willing these two orbs to become one was overwhelming, but thankfully as I still held on to them with my hands I was able to quickly separate them. I had planned next to try placing them either side of my labia, but after the sheer pressure felt against my nipple I decided that might inflict way too much pain to bear and would be best left for another day.

However, as I sat totally disappointed with my efforts I decided to "go for it". With a deep breath and sheer determination I proceeded to carefully place the orbs either side of my chosen spot trying to enclose sufficient skin to prevent them rolling and nipping painfully. The greater the thickness between them, the less intense the likely sensation of pain will result.

Although I have only taken baby steps with these challenging bondage toys, I did find the thrill of the intense fear factor to be extremely erotic and will definitely stick with them and hopefully with time and practice may achieve greater resistance to the pain. With that thought in mind I have ordered another set with a view to using them for both nipples or elsewhere as my imagination dictates.

I wanted something new for my nipples and have been quite taken with clamps for a while, but after testing some for Lovehoney a few years ago I was dissuaded as I found them very fiddly and more hassle than they're worth. Already an owner of suckers and rings, I wanted something different. Also I fear that I'm losing sensation in my nipples because I play with them so much, so when these stainless steel magnetic orbs came up I was instantly intrigued. I read the reviews and thought it sounded right up my alley, but in case I didn't like them I only ordered one pair. (Regretted that!)

Packaging is simple with the orbs separated, so when I pulled the plastic moulds apart, they were drawn together immediately; they are unbelievably strong magnets!! Trying to pull them apart got me quite aroused, and I dove straight in - one each side of my nipple and let go...

If I hadn't made it obvious before, the magnetism is ultra powerful as the box states! They pack quite a punch, so if you're not used to it I'd recommend little and often, otherwise sore areas might develop (I have found some minute red pinch marks on my nipples but nothing to worry about). Also, as others have mentioned, make sure they are far enough apart when you place them, otherwise they will attract and pinch sensitive areola areas quite drastically! It's a shock if you're not expecting it, believe me!

That all said, I love them and will be purchasing another pair so I can wear them on both nipples simultaneously. Annabelle suggests other areas to put them, but I will stick to nipples - I tried it on my outer labia; it was pleasant for about a second before it became painful... Enough said there!

Well, first off I'm not going to talk about the discreet packaging and delivery. It's amazing like every item I have bought.

I bought two sets of these. You get two magnetic balls in each and when I removed them from the packaging they snapped together. Be warned that they are very powerful and if you are not careful they will snap together with your nipple in and O boy be prepared.

If you enjoy nipple clamps, these are stronger. The pain/pleasure combo is a sure thing depends on if you like pain depends on if you should try these. I keep trying to keep them on and I don't last long, however, I'm going to keep trying.

Blimey. Be careful, these super strong large magnets can add a lot of pressure. In fact I purchased two packs.

It was extremely difficult trying to pull these babies off my nipples, ouch! I’m a little worried about using them downstairs as I have a coil. My partner is worried about it hurting him down there. Well, in case it pinched the testicles.

These little pens are excellent.

They do tend to roll and pinch skin, so I superglued dental ribbon to them for easily removal.

If my hands are set or dry I can remove them instantly.

With this simple alteration I feel they are perfect for beginners or the experts alike.

I'd been exploring different nipple clamps for a while when I found these.

I was a little worried when I read the description about their power, so I ordered one set rather than two.

When I unpacked they were a lot larger than expected - being the size of my nipple, rather than the small size they suggest in the photos!

They jump together straight away, and are hard to pull apart. I applied them to one of my nipples, and immediately felt the pain and intensity that I had been looking for for a while! However, I found that I could only wear them for a maximum of 10 minutes before the pain became too much for me.

As always, Lovehoney shipped this item very discreetly. The shipping can sometimes take an extra few days to get to my area, but that is more of an issue for the freight company over-promising what they can do. These orb clamps are much stronger then you think.

When my SO put them on her nipples there was not enough skin to prevent them from rolling and pitching. It may have left a bruise, so just be careful.

These small magnetic balls are really quite impressive. They are very strong magnets and are actually difficult to separate even with dry hands. They can be placed either side of body parts to apply a real pinch. If you like pain then these are for you!

A word of warning though... Be careful what you wish for!

These balls squeeze together really tightly and, due to their spherical shape, the pressure is delivered through a small area, making it very concentrated. If they can be applied to a fleshy area they provide an intense but not unpleasant pinch. The problem is that when the balls are applied to many of the fleshy bits on a body they roll towards the edge. This means that the nice thick bit of flesh that was getting a nice pinch pushes the balls to a thin bit of skin where the balls accelerate together at an alarming pace. I tried to recreate the picture with one ball on each side of my penis but the balls long to meet each other. They quickly jumped round and clung together separated by only a thin part of foreskin.

They are hard to pull apart at the best of times but when you are writhing in pain, leaping round the room and have blurred vision due to the tears, this is really difficult. Like a true, dedicated Lovehoney customer I then went on to have a similar experience with almost all of the available fleshy bits.

We first saw these on another site which gave a different impression that they are fun, kinky and easy to use, so we bought them from Lovehoney.

They are very powerful, so much that they are difficult to pull apart, especially if your hands aren't dry! They are difficult to keep in place and can lead to pinching of the skin which can be...Ouch!

I bought this product thinking "they had better be powerful!" ...well, they are.

The first area I placed them was between my balls, one at the front of my ball bag and one at the back, separating my love nuts with pinpoint accuracy. Now I'm not used to a lot of pain, I much prefer the pleasure side of things, so to me, testing these orbs in this particular spot felt like having a nail driven through my sack!

This didn't put me off, I tried again on my right nipple... ouch!, and again on my foreskin... ouch!, and on that bit between the balls and bum hole... ouch!, then my left nipple... ouch!, and then finally again on my balls (left and right this time)... ouch! Ouch! OUCH!!

My first impression of the product was fab! I thought the packaging was very simple yet elegant.

As soon as I removed the protective plastic the orbs pretty much jumped out the pack and snapped together!

I was very surprised when trying to pull them apart. They are sooo strong I actually struggled to separate them at first!

There is something really sexy about playing with these little orbs. It may be the smooth cold texture.

I was very keen to try these out with my partner, but unfortunately this is where the fun ended for me.

I found that because they are so strong it was difficult to get them in place (especially in a small area like a nipple) without them snapping together too soon and pinching your skin in the process.

It was definitely much easier to use them on a wider area (such as the penis), but again it was far too easy for them to slip slightly out of place and then snap together pinching bits of skin in the process. My poor partner has a few bruises now lol.

I'm not a huge fan of large amounts of pain, so for me these are too strong to use as nipple clamps.

So, overall these 100% live up to their name of Ultra powerful, but can cause some serious pinching and bruising if you're not careful!

I would recommend to anyone who is into the 'pain' elements a little more or if you have a very steady hand and can do better than me at not causing the pinching and snapping together lol.
