Lovehoney VIP Trial FAQs

We'll add up the value of your purchases made from the launch of the trial and for every £60 spent you’ll receive a £15 VIP Reward code to use on your next order. You will receive this code within 30 days of the threshold being reached, to allow for any returns to be made.

Every £1 you spend on products - after discount is taken off, excluding delivery costs, and purchases of gift cards - counts towards the £60 threshold.

You will be able to see your progress towards earning your next VIP Reward via monthly updates in your Lovehoney emails.

Codes will be sent within 30 days of the threshold being reached, to allow for any returns to be made.

You will receive the VIP Reward in the form of an offer code via email within 30 days of the threshold being met.

Your VIP Reward code will be valid for 3 months (end date shown in the accompanying email), and can only be used once by the customer associated with the email address the code was sent to. Reward code value must be used in full, on one order at or over the VIP Reward value. Only one code can be used per order. VIP Reward codes cannot be redeemed against gift cards or delivery costs. Some other exclusions may apply - see accompanying email for more details.

Lovehoney VIP Reward codes are valid for 3 months from the date they are issued. The expiry date will be communicated in the accompanying email.
You will be able to see how much you have earned towards your next VIP Reward in a monthly update email.
When a new benefit is available e.g. early access to sale or a new product launch, you will be alerted via marketing email. You’ll then be able to follow the instructions in that email to access your benefits.
You can give feedback at any time here. We will be sending regular surveys by email and may also invite you to take part in more detailed one to one research during the trial.
During this trial period, customers have been selected to take part and we are unable to add additional customers. Once the trial comes to an end, we intend to open the programme to more of our customers. If and when that happens, we’ll alert customers via email.

The trial is expected to run for 4 months initially, but this is subject to change. When the trial comes to a close, customers will be notified by email. Any VIP Rewards which have been issued will still be valid until the expiry date communicated in the accompanying email that was sent.
While customers can take part in the trial without being opted into marketing emails or holding an account, some of the benefits can only be communicated by marketing email (VIP Access and birthday gift), and some offers need to be linked to a customer account. So to experience the programme in full we recommend being subscribed to our marketing emails and signing up to an account.
Yes, existing Unlimited and Lovehoney Rewards customers will still be able to access those benefits as normal during this trial.
If you return part or all of an order for a refund, your total spend, and therefore progress towards your next VIP Reward, will be updated to reflect that refund. If a VIP Reward has already been issued based on the spend that has now been refunded we reserve the right to withdraw the Reward.

Lovehoney VIP Trial - Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions, together with our website terms and conditions and our privacy policy apply to and govern the Lovehoney VIP loyalty programme trial (“Lovehoney VIP trial”, “the trial”), promoted and operated by Lovehoney Group Ltd (“Lovehoney”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and set out the contract between Lovehoney and each Lovehoney VIP member (“Lovehoney VIP”, “VIP”, “member”, “you”, “your”)

Accessing the Lovehoney VIP trial benefits will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time, with immediate effect.

All members must be individuals aged 18 years or over, shopping with Lovehoney as the end user.

We reserve the right to change or withdraw any benefits of the trial or suspend or terminate the trial at any time at our sole discretion and for any reason. We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate any member’s trial status for any reason, including but not limited to the following: if we reasonably believe that these terms have been breached, if there is any theft from or misconduct in connection with us, if the member supplies false or misleading information to us, if we consider that the member has acted improperly or in an abusive, defamatory, criminal or offensive way to any other member or to our staff.

We are currently running a trial of a new, free loyalty programme called Lovehoney VIP.

Some existing Lovehoney customers have been selected to take part in this trial, and those selected were notified by email in November 2021.

During the trial, members will earn money off codes (VIP Rewards) as they shop, get first access to sale events, new launches and exclusive VIP offers (VIP Access), and a VIP birthday gift. They will be asked for feedback on these experiences during and after the trial, which will help shape the final version of the programme that we hope to roll out to more customers.

The trial is expected to run for 4 months, but this is subject to change. When the trial is coming to a close, customers will be notified by email.

Lovehoney VIP Benefits

VIP Rewards

Members will receive a £15 VIP Reward, in the form of an offer code, every time they spend £60, based on their cumulative spend from the time the trial launches. To calculate this, we'll add up the value of each member’s purchases made from the launch date onwards - after discount is taken off, and excluding delivery costs, and purchases of gift cards.

Each time your cumulative spend reaches the threshold, we'll send you a VIP Reward code via email to spend on a future order. Any remaining spend after that threshold is met will count towards your next VIP Reward code. For example, if after the trial launches you place an order for £30, followed by an order for £45, your total spend would reach £75. You would receive a £15 VIP Reward code to be used on your next order, and the remaining £15 after the £60 threshold is met would count towards your next £60 goal. If an order is placed for £120 in one transaction, two £15 VIP Reward codes would be sent, but there may be a slight delay in receiving your second code.

VIP Access

Members will be able to access selected sale events before the official launch, as well as new product launch alerts. They may also receive exclusive offers and private sale events.

Where this is the case, members will receive a marketing email detailing the offer, and providing instructions on how to access it. Terms and conditions for each individual offer will be detailed in the accompanying marketing email.

Please note, if you are not opted in to receive email marketing you will not receive VIP Access emails.

VIP Birthday Gift

Members with a birthday during the period that the trial is running will receive an added value or discount offer on or before their birthday, as per the birth date given in your account.

Please note, if you are not opted in to receive email marketing or have not supplied a date of birth in your account, you will not receive a VIP birthday gift.

If you are not an account holder or have not supplied your birth date, you can create an account/add your birth date up to 7 days before your birthday to qualify for a VIP birthday gift. You cannot receive more than one birthday gift in a 12 month period.
