What is PayPal Pay in 3?
PayPal Pay in 3 is an interest-free loan that lets you split your basket into 3 payments, with the first due at time of purchase and subsequent payments due every month on the same date, there are no fees. Pay in 3 is a form of credit, so carefully consider whether you can afford the repayments.
PayPal Pay in 3 is not available for all goods such as Gift Voucher purchases. They also reserve the right to decide not to offer PayPal Pay in 3 as a payment option in certain circumstances, such as where our checks suggest an increased risk of fraud or where data we hold suggests you may not be eligible. If you choose PayPal Pay in 3 as your payment method when you check out with PayPal, you’ll be taken through the application process. You’ll get a decision instantly, but not everyone will be eligible.
If needed, PayPal will run a soft credit check with an external credit reference agency. This leaves no permanent mark on a customer’s credit record if they choose not to progress.
If a customer decides to use Pay in 3, PayPal will report their ongoing performance to credit reference agencies as they believe this promotes responsible lending. So, it’s important that you’re able to keep up your repayments and that you’re comfortable that they’re affordable. PayPal believe that a person’s credit score should be a true reflection of their situation. Lenders rely on this in order to extend credit to people in a sustainable way.
To apply for PayPal Pay in 3 you must provide, Title, Phone number, Address, Date of birth, and Debit card information
Your plan will last 2 months in total. The first payment will be due at the time of purchase, followed by 2 further payments due each month after that. What happens if I cancel or return my order that I paid for with PayPal Pay in 3? You can still apply for a refund for your purchase when you use PayPal Pay in 3. If you return some or all of your items according to your legal statutory rights and/or the refund policy of the merchant, you will get a partial or full refund. Partial refunds will lower the amount that you owe in the payments you have left. Any refund issued will be paid to your PayPal Balance.
Yes, just log into your PayPal account, choose the PayPal Pay in 3 plan you want to pay off, and click Make a Payment. Then you can make an unscheduled payment of Next Payment Due or pay the Full Balance.
We believe in responsible lending and will make efforts to support customers who are experiencing financial difficulty. If you know you will be unable to make a payment or are otherwise concerned about your finances, the best thing to do is to contact PayPal to discuss this in advance and not wait until your payment is due or overdue. If you miss a repayment this may impact your ability to access other sources of credit or use Pay in 3 in the future. If a payment does become overdue, Paypal collections team will work with a you to find the best solution.

What is PayPal Pay in 4?
Pay in 4 is lets you split your purchase into 4 payments, with the down payment due at the time of order placement and 3 subsequent payments made every 2 weeks thereafter. There are no fees for choosing to pay with Pay in 4.
Availability depends on your state of residence, and you must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your state) to apply. You must also have a PayPal account in good standing or open a PayPal account to apply. If you choose Pay in 4 as your payment method when you check out with PayPal, you will be taken through the application process. You will get a decision instantly but not everyone will be approved based on our internal checks.
No. Applying for Pay in 4 will not impact your credit score.
After your down payment made at the time of order placemen, your 3 subsequent repayments will be taken automatically from the confirmed debit card, credit card, or bank account you provided at the time of your application.
If you return the item, you purchased using Pay in 4, you will receive a refund directly from Lovehoney If the refund is not issued immediately, you will need to continue making your Pay in 4 repayments until you receive your refund. Partial refunds will lower the amount that you owe in the payments you have left.
