Wow- Lubyanka- bashing Mucky Duck a little in your explanation page huh? :)

This is what I can't get my head around (to get back on topic lol). If he hasn't had an orgasm in five months, but you do have penetrative sex, does that mean he doesn't actually cum?

I can see why the power would be a turn on, and I can agree it does sound erotic from descriptions you two have been giving, but to me not getting to see, hear and feel his pleasure would be like eating sweets with the wrapper on- hugely disapointing and not reyt nice! lol.

The explanation page was in no way intended to be personal, crayola. I get people making remarks about my nickname often. This wasn't by any means the first time.

And yes indeed, if we have penetrative his-penis-in-my-vagina sex, and I decide he doesn't get to orgasm, then he doesn't, of course. :)

Personally, I just don't understand why so many people seem to assume that no orgasms by definition means no pleasure, arousal, excitement, or enjoyment.

Believe me, kvetch will be the first to tell you that he does experience enormously huge intense waves of pleasure! His excitement and arousal are indeed hotness itself to see, hear, feel, and smell. Part of what's so good about all this is that he is learning that orgasms are not the be-all and end-all of arousal, sex, and sensual experiences.

I wish more people could benefit from that knowledge.

Well, I spent last night in the Sentinel and I think the experience is best described as 'interesting'. I'm not sure if it would be appropriate for me to post my first impressions here or not as I think a proper description of the effects needs to be slightly anatomical and graphic – perhaps outside the posting rules. An official view would be helpful!

My experience of male chastity devices is that they are not at all straightforward nor easy to wear straight out of the box. The body needs to get accustomed with wearing for a short time at first, and then over gradually longer and longer periods.

I cannot think of how you can reasonably be expected to describe your experiences without anatomical details. I think the forum rules apply to swear words and inappropriate genital references, of which this is not.

In other words, spill! ;) (kidding)

Heh heh, 'spill'! you naughty lass!

I would love to try the sentinel gyrator, look forward to reading your experiences....Its nearly two weeks since i was 'allowed out' . I am finding it necessary to put the bigger ring on at night, smallest during the day due to expansion from heat and, well its darned cold is'nt it!. Keeping it clean is the problem with the cb3000. I am allowed to remove it and clean up each morning on a basis of trust. I really would'nt break that trust! But there must be a non-removing method, I hate having a dirty one, any tips?

Lubyanka, you were asking about the pic on my avatar, theres similar stuff on myspace at my all new page! Everyone here is welcome to be a friend, love your blog by the way.

wish there was an adult version so i could post naughty stuff, any ideas?

Now, back to work, filing, oh good.

Thank you for your kind words, smackneill :)

When I try web searches for things like "femdom drawings" and so on as you suggested, all I get for the first 30 or so pages of results is sexualised images of pro doms or porn depicting male gratification thinly disguised as the woman's gratification. The bottom line is that what I find is not designed for my enjoyment, but the male sex-industry-consumer.

I like your avatar picture, mostly because the CFNM theme does not include a sexualised portrayal of the woman. That kind of picture just doesn't come up in web searches for femdom unless I'm prepared to trawl through zillions of results. Thank you for putting it on myspace. I don't have a myspace account (and don't want one) so I can't see a larger version of it (if you have one).

If you are having trouble keeping clean whilst in the device, I've read that a soapy pastry brush in the shower can be effective as long as you ensure that you rinse well. I've also read that a squeezy plastic water bottle with a thin extended nozzle can help with rinsing, or a directed shower head if the water pressure is strong enough. I'm still working with kvetch to find the best solution for this.

    Thanks Lubes (!)

I recently heard of a commercially available numbing spray so you can let him loose in the shower knowing he cannot do anything naughty, the guys who did my piercings recommended it for use before i get 'down there' done. Apparently available from boots.

will try to email you some pics, not back online for a while now, toodlepip.

Well, I had an over-night trial of the Sentinel and I think the right word is 'interesting'. The initial impression is that it is extremely heavy – the cage and ring together weigh just over 300g which I calculate is about the weight of a big, fully erect penis so it has the effect of about doubling the weight of you gear. We went for the Sentinel having read that it was a design well suited for un-circumcised men. It's also aesthetically pleasing. I had erred on the side of caution on measuring for the ring (50mm) as I didn't want to cut off the blood supply but found the escape was too readily possible by the simple expedient of one ball escaping followed shortly by its partner. I had anticipated this and had already worked out how to reduce the bore of the ring by 5mm using some plastic strip and self amalgamating rubber tape. This certainly stopped the escape and didn't cause my bits to go blue and drop off but my guess is the ring size is critical. It would not take much more to make it too tight. I'll experiment with this and report later.

Getting it on was a hoot. Being a hinged ring it's easy to get it positioned behind the scrotum but it takes a little time to get flesh and hair out of the closing gaps. By this time of course my nice flaccid state has become transformed into a modest boner that makes getting the cage on tricky. However, as the cage is tapered I manage with the aid of some silicone lube. A moment later and I'm clicked in and my wife is trying (somewhat unsuccessfully) not to laugh.

Anyway, I found the whole thing quite comfortable although when lying down the weight needs supporting. Luckily I can sleep happily on my side with my legs bent and this supported it fine. As expected I woke up when I got the first night-time erection. This is not unusual as, since we have been into regular pegging I find I get really intense nocturnal 'woodies' that wake me. However this time the sensation is rather different! The device does not stop the erection – I doubt anything can – but the end of my penis was rather firmly jammed into the end of the cage with the ring pulled half way down the shaft taking my testicles with it. This was not actually painful or at least not enough to distract me from the pleasurable sensation the cage was providing to the head of my penis. I went for a pee and a splash of cold water and this seemed to take the edge off my erection but it didn't exactly go away. I then spent an interesting time trying to get back to sleep and going through a little cycle:-

    Erection increases.

Gradual sliding of penis into cage make for a delightful sensation speeding and intensifying erection.

    Erection reaches peak.

Sting in scrotum takes over as dominant sensation.

    Erection decreases.

Gradual sliding of penis out of cage produces a sudden very pleasant sensation that despite my willing otherwise causes erection to increase again (I'm sure the cage design is responsible for this as one of the rings of the cage is well placed to press and rub on the glans).

Repeat until I finally fall asleep.

The amount of precum that accompanied the morning pee suggests I spent a lot of the night being stimulated by the device.

Having made some adjustments I have also worn it to work. It was comfortable and not too distracting except for when my lovely wife, bless her, came and gave me a lingering kiss and set off a few loops of the aforementioned stiffy cycle. I got my own back when she finally released me in the evening as she was obviously extremely aroused herself. A toy for the man's jewels and the woman's brain perhaps?

You are a poet, Gyrator. I have never seen the point of this sort of thing but your description explains some of it.

I agree with walrus, a beautifully written description Gyrator53. :)

    Just one thing, you said:

    Gyrator53 wrote:

My experience of male chastity devices is that if the tube of the cage is small enough, and enclosed enough, and the ring behind the scrotum is well-fitting enough, then a male chastity device can certainly stop erections, especially if used in combination with devices which cause pain during erections, such as the "Points of Intrigue" available for use with the CB-X000 series'.

One time, when kvetch was in his Curve, we were at a kinky party with (amongst others) a M/f pair of friends. The submissive woman has a skilled tongue, and she was expertly applying it to kvetch's perineum. He was as erect as the cage would allow, including bulging through the vent areas, and the scrotal ring was pushed way forward as you described. He ultimately had to ask her to stop because he was so aroused with no opportunity to relax, and this ended up causing some pain.

In my experience with kvetch, he responds very well to combinations of pain and pleasure, as long as the pain is outweighed by the pleasure. On that occasion the pain was in his testicles, I think it was something like what they call "blue balls".

I agree that the male chastity device is a toy for men's genitals and both partners' brains. :)

The prevention of erections thing is interesting. I'm no expert on the matter (it's my wife who is the proper doctor) however as far as I can see the arteries that provide blood to the erectile tissue in the penis run on the dorsal aspect of the penis just either side of the veins so I would have thought that it would be difficult to constrict the arterial flow into the penis without more seriously constricting the flow out (veins being more easily squashed than arteries). So I guess the trick is to prevent the dimensional changes of the penis either by force or by enough pain to distract the erectee. I just worked out that a typical blood pressure is about 1.5 pounds/ square inch so a 2 inch diameter penis can be stopped from growing in length by an end pressure of about 4.5 pounds (it feels more than that I must confess!)

I should perhaps at this point mention that the design is not perfect. There is a wonderfully painful pinch-point between the ring and the cage that lovingly grabs hold of a bit if skin when the cage is pulled down (I have the blood-blisters to prove it). This has been simply cured by sliding a suitable small O-ring over the post on the top of the cage before the cage is fitted. This simply keeps flesh out of the pinch point. I would know if this was not working – have you ever pinched a blood blister on your cock between two bits of metal? Well, it unbelievably painful!

    Hello Gyrator53,

I may not understand this absolutely correctly, so I would welcome your wife's corrections if I am in error at all. The way I think it works is, when a man's penis becomes erect, it does so because the arteries in the penis dilate, both on the dorsal (topmost) aspect and also deep within the spongy erectile tissue. This allows increased blood flow which engorges the erectile tissue. The engorged erectile tissue then compresses the adjacent veins, mostly the ones deep within the penis, which are located between the structures of spongy erectile tissue. This restricts the rate at which blood flows out of the penis. Thus less blood flows out than in, resulting in the creation and maintenance of an erection. This part, you knew already. :)

As you correctly mentioned, some of the veins carrying blood out of the penis are on the dorsal aspect of the penis, and these are the ones restricted every time a cock ring helps so splendidly to maintain an erection. However, the many veins located deep within the structure of the penis are the primary ones restricted when the spongy erectile tissue becomes engorged. By comparison, the dorsal veins are much less affected by the state of the erectile tissue.

I think you will already know that for blood to be carried out of the penis, it must first be carried into the penis. Some of the arteries carrying blood into the penis are located deep inside the erectile tissue structures, which themselves can be squashed when flaccid and inside a chastity tube. So, squash the flaccid erectile tissue, and the arteries also become squashed.

So, if inward blood flow is restricted, then engorgement of the erectile tissue is also restricted, which then limits the constriction of the veins carrying outward blood flow. If the penis is squashed for example in a chastity device, then the flaccid erectile tissue simply compresses beneath the pressure of the chastity tube. Since blood (water) is not that compressible, the veins still carry blood away from the penis. I think that this is why cock rings cannot be useful for creating erections, they can only usefully maintain existing erections.

Having said all that, if you know differently, I'd love to hear about it, seriously. I'm not a medical professional, so I would gratefully welcome any corrections or additions to the information I have.

One tip - in addition to the O-ring you've added to protect yourself from blood-blisters, you may want to ensure that your scrotal skin is thoroughly lubricated with something like baby oil gel to ensure that the effects of any chafing are minimised even further. And I hope you won't be wearing the Sentinel again until well after your blood blister heals? :)

Phew, I hope at least some of that was new information!

    Best regards,

    Lubyanka. :)

I can't compete with this eloquence!

Nice writing Luby and Gyrator! The baby oil gel is a must to stop chafing and has solved many of my night pains though applying it often means an unwanted stiffy!

'A toy for the man's jewels and the woman's brain perhaps?' ...excellent!

That cycle seems all too familiar! I still find the application chilled mini tonic cans and thoughts of David Mellor and Margaret Thatcher are needed to prevent blue balls and the crushing pains that accompany night time erections. Does anyone know if ones body eventually becomes accustomed to the wearing of a cb and these pains eventually fade? They disturb me and therefore the wife so I usually move to the spare room, not ideal.....though last night having done this she woke me in the wee small hours in a very provocative manner demanding her rights. It was wonderful! I slept VERY well after that! I think this is when the CB comes into its best, 10 days without meant some of the best we've ever experienced. I still have a VERY large smile!

    xx

    Hi Luyanka

Well, I didn't want to quiz her to the point where she felt experimentation would be needed (as I know who the lab rat would be!) but she seems to think that while sufficient constriction would of course eventually reduce the arterial flow enough to prevent erection one would be running a close thing between just inhibiting erections and reducing the normal blood flow to a dangerous extent.

I have been further improving the Sentinel. I realised that both the pinch problem and a certain loss of security are caused by the mortice in the cage being slightly too big for the split tenon at the top of the ring. This allows the cage to move relative to the ring. I simply added an aluminium shim inside the mortice to make them a good fit and take out this movement. It means the gap between the ring and cage can't be opened up by pulling the cage up and this certainly increases the security. I don't think I could escape now even with the ring bore at 50mm.

Its certainly interesting to hear of Gyrator53's experience of the Sentinel compared to my experience of the CB-3000. I was tempted to go for the shiny metal as opposed to the "magimix-styled" plastic, for purely visual-aesthetic reasons but I am glad in the end I went for the plastic.

The thing about the CB-3000 is that it is designed to fit snugly around the cock and so, as Lubyanka says, it actually prevents erections by compressing the girth. This in turn prevents enough blood from flowing to the area to justify the term "erection".

There is in addition the effect that Gyrator53 describes of the forward pressure pulling the balls out away from the body, but never more than a mild discomfort.

In the end, male chastity is all about the psychology of the situation you are placed in with respect to your keyholder. Well, that's my view anyway.

My partner and I have tended to use it sparingly - sometimes we will have normal, purely "vanilla" sex still and this seems necessary as a means of reassuring one another that we aren't just using each other for sexual gratification (me using her seems to be the chief concern - I have to admit to getting a big buzz out of the mild sub-dom flavour of her using me).

Also, we haven't "progressed" beyond her letting me out at the end of several hours of extended foreplay because, as she points out, she rather likes the feeling of me coming inside her and the dynamic established really doesn't lend itself so well to the idea of denying HER sexual satisfaction...

On the other hand, I really had no idea before that a woman could enjoy oral stimulation for quite so long...

Its interesting to read the views of people lurking on this thread who just don't get it. All I can say to you is, you must be here for a reason ;-)

It's also surprising just how quickly this thing has stopped seeming like a weird perversion and started to seem like something you could wholeheartedly recommend to most couples.

Of course, in the end, it's just another game - and it is silly to make pretentious claims about it. Still, in spite of the fact that in the end I know that the likelihood is I will be "allowed out" to get my jollies in the traditional fashion, being not so directly cock-led in one's lovemaking is really quite transforming. Mmmm...

Thank you for the update timetraveler. :)

I'll be interested to hear how this develops for you over time, whether your wife develops more of an interest or whether the whole thing just fizzles out. I think you'll be responsible to a significant degree how this plays out, because this started out primarily as your kink. So I'm thinking you'll need to ensure that you keep presenting it in ways which appeal to her. Some find that difficult to maintain, I hope you can manage it. In your case, I'm optimistic. :)

I certainly wouldn't recommend male chastity for most relationships - most of the relationships I know would collapse and die under the pressures of it. (whether I think they should survive or not is another story) Most of the relationships I know are so dysfunctional that any pressure whatsoever will shatter them like glass.

Having said that, I'm sure that male chastity could act as a fairly accurate indicator of the health of any relationship with a male in it. :)

About "weird perversions" - up til less than 15 years ago, sexual penetration of the male anus was an arrestable offense in my region. In my experience, the people accusing others of "weird perversions" are revealing their bigotry and ignorance and exclusion. Everything will have somebody thinking it's weird. I personally think that missionary with the lights off is just sick. :p

So if anybody starts making uninformed judgments about stuff, I take that as an indication that I should remain very far away from them. Let them perpetrate their bigotry, exclusion and ignorance, I have better things to do. :)

I think the problem with the Sentinel, which is common to almost all the metal devices, is a lack of adjustability. Since I last posted I decided that, while I'm waiting for the 45mm ring to arrive, I would try to get the fit with the 50mm ring as good as possible. I felt that the security was still slightly marginal as the gap between the ring and the bottom of the cage was too big and could potentially allow a testicle to escape. However, with no other way of adjusting this I removed the chrome from the fitting at the top of the ring and modified it by building up with lead-free solder (which is almost pure tin and so almost identical to the pewter that the ring is made from) and filing back to the required shape. This worked out really well and the security of the device was not in any doubt. The depth of the ring (16mm) is great enough to make any attempt to pull back out seem quite impossible and even if one did the device would still be attached to your nuts so would be a total give-away.

I can see that by reducing the diameter of the cage entrance you can reduce the tendency for the device to pull away (the thrust being the pressure times the cross-sectional area – see, physics could be taught in a better way given the right sort of example problems - Janet has John in a chastity cage with a bore of 25mm, John has a blood pressure of....) but one reads of people in CB3000 etc. bulging out of the vent holes etc and even splitting them apart so there is obviously a serious attempt at an erection going on in many cases.

Anyway, I wore the modified Sentinel for 36 hours without any real problems. The modification made the rim of the cage pressing on the scrotum somewhat more noticeable but not unpleasant. I will be interested to see how it works out with the smaller ring once it arrives. I should perhaps add that he sex after release has been very hot for both of us so perhaps this is a handy little diversion from time to time. Reading around on the web it seems that there are those who treat this as a sort of pole-squatting contest to see how many days they can hold out. I just don't see the point in that!

In my experience, the internet is just packed full of fantastists, which is fine, but portraying their fantasies as if they were fact, which bugs me. Oh well, it's a thing to be aware of.

Also, I've found that the people who tend to compete for longevity awards in the chastity department are most usually without keyholding partners. If they had a partner holding their key, then obviously their partner decides how long they spend locked up, making longevity a bit moot. I think that chastity play as solo masturbation (which is fine in my opinion) is an entirely different barrel of monkeys from chastity play with a partner holding the key.

However, I do have to laugh when any of these solo players try to convince me that they're really playing with a partner, especially when they pontificate at me in their One True Wayness. They usually go on about how I'm doing everything wrong by not punishing my partner into next week every time he has an erection or something, heh.

However much I think that masturbation is great (and I do think it's great), I think playing with a partner is waaaaay better. :)
