    Hi,

My wife got me one of these https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=36405 for my birthday on removing the packaging I found the item has an odd sticky feel to it, I have washed it as instructed yet the sticky feel is still present.

is this normal for the material it is made from or has it reacted with the packaging?

I will be grateful for any advice

    Ta

We have a simple stroker toy not unlike it, it has a sticky texture regardless of how you use or clean it. I guess it must just be the material

We don't have that exact toy, but we've found that with male masturbators the clear ones tend to have much more of a sticky feel than flesh coloured ones. Renewal powder could help but if it really bothers you I'd reccomend going with a flesh coloured (opaque) toy :)

They are sticky, you can get renewal powder for them which removes the stickyness but it will give a cloudy appearance, the powder also stops it from sticking together and ripping.

Yep, normal for this material. Get some of the renewal powder from here as that will help :-)

Yeah - this is totally normal.

Just dust the surface of the toy with renewal powder (aka cornstarch) after cleaning each time to keep it smooth and non-sticky :)
