Does anyone know how to find tasteful Liberator Pillow instructions that don't contain nude or scantily clad people in them? Text, clothed people, or non-anatomically correct illustrations would be acceptable.

    The backstory:

My wonderful wife of 20 years bought me a wedge/ramp Liberator pillow set for some holiday about a year ago (roughly - I don't remember which holiday).

Since then, they have gathered dust. We haven't used them. Since we have them, I would like to give them a try, so I washed the dust off the pillow covers and checked the instructions on the Liberator website.

Most of the videos and instructions have scantily clad or completely nude folks in them, some having simulated sex. If I present these instructions to her, they will turn her off enough to make things difficult. She is very anti-porn, and these Kama Sutraish videos are close enough to porn for her.

I did find some still illustrations on their website that were tasteful enough - not anatomically correct, but certainly are short of being an instruction manual.

As a couple, we don't communicate about sex very well. We have it, but she doesn't like to talk about it, so this conversation will be difficult enough without the semi-porn instructions getting in the way.

    Any help is appreciated.

We have a Liberator and I understand what you mean. Instructions aren't fantastic. There were some on the box if you still have it. We are still trying to get to grips with it. So far I have found it to be helpful under my bum and back for a missionary position and under my tummy for doggy. That's as far as we have got with it so far.

I am not great with nudity, I am also not one for porn. My greatest advice would be to ask her to get comfy with the Liberator. I like ours even when sleeping as it helps with hip pain.

    Good luck

Might I suggest that you garner the knowledge from what you've seen, Then use this info along with your wife and make your own experiences and discoverys.

We don't have this ourselves, but one thing I've discovered in sex (and life in general I guess) is that when the opportunity presents itself that you can change the rules to fit in with your own narative, then that's great.

Do we really want to be a facsimile of other peoples rules, or do we create our own?

Great user name and welcome (belated I know) to this place BTW

I would've thought sitting down to read instructions first would be a mood killer, no?

Can't you keep it within reach, and during foreplay tell her you just want to slip a wedge under her bum because it'll make it easier for you to go down on her for longer?

+1 this. The fact she brought it for you in the first place sounds like she's interested/curious in using it, an un spoken hint that she wants to try something new. Maybe if you both find it hard to discuss, just having it "there" will be enough to let her know you're keen if the chance arose. Maybe try it out yourself when sex is not on the cards. Lay down and position yourself on it, get the feel of each position and imagine her laying there and what it allows you to access. Allow your imagination to run wild!

I.hear the advice thus far, and appreciate it. But, it's unlikely to work for us.

Leaving the pillows nearby doesn't work. They've been within 10 feet of the bed for a year.

Trying to play her with extended cunnilingus won't work either. I enjoy it a great deal, but she doesn't. On the occasion we do it, she cuts me off after a minute or two, wanting real sex instead.

I hear the advice about not bringing instructions into the bedroom. You're right on that. I was going to introduce and talk about the instructions at a non sex time, like dinner.

I'm probably going to print out liberators position illustrations and try that. I do wish they were a bit better, but they're what I have.

Problem resolved. I figured out the solution.

I combed the LIberator website for position illustrations applicable to the wedge, ramp, or wedge/ramp combo. I found 67 of them, although I'm sure some are the same position with different illustrations, and some of the illustrations are so crappy I can't tell if the position was designed for straight or gay couples (I eliminated the obviously gay ones).

Printed them out on cards, and handed them to my wife. I told her if she is interested in any of them, just hand me one, kindof like sex coupons. No uncomfortable sex conversation required.

    Perfect.

Interesting thread. I have a Liberator wedge and not used it for sex at all. It came in handy to put under my knees to sleep on my back after my last spine op and since June last year, it's been gathering dust.
