    Hi. I want to buy my first dildo for oral use, I've read that certain materials can be harmful for the mouth. Are there any I should avoid/look for? I know that silicone is usually safe, but they're pretty pricey so have been looking at Doc Johnson Realistic which is Skin Safe Rubber. Is this a good option? Shoudl I avoid PVC ones? Obviously I'd also like something which feels realistic and doesn't taste/smell too bad. Any suggestions or tips would be super appreciated!

    What's the price bracket you're looking at if you don't mind me asking?

    Personally I think the only dildo that will feel anything like real are the vixskin dual density silicone ones like this, which I think is the cheapest of these. https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=28882

    Anything else would be too hard to feel ok in your mouth. I know it's expensive but it will last you a life time if you look after it; plus it will actually be pleasent to use.

    Something like this https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=34201 is less than a third of the price, even though it's silicone, but for oral use it will be like sucking the rubber grip on a hammer, in terms of how hard it will feel in your mouth.

    I'd stick with silicone. There are some affordable options out there. You can always use a discount code if needed to get it a little cheaper.

    What about this one? https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=34763

    Personally I'd choose a silicon one. Nat has suggested a good one.

    Ah thanks guys!

    @NaughtyNerd I'd say like up to £50.

    @Alicia4Ever Ah OK, so I'd be better looking at something like that for a more pleasent experience?

    I'd kind of like one with the testicles on too.
