Hi so I'm pretty new at the whole sex toy thing. As in I've never owned one before. I've also never had sex before (I don't know if that makes any difference) but I was wondering what the best toys to start of with was?

That's a very tricky question as everyone is different!

Do you masturbate? What works for you already?

Hi RachiieT and welcome to the forums. There's so much to choose from at LH, it can be hard to know where to begin - lol. A great starting point is the buyers guides - see links below. Start browsing, and have a read through the reviews :) xx

I agree with Sub, we will probably need to know what you like and don't like.

Usually a clitoral bullet type vibrator is good for a beginner, but some women tend to find stimulation of the clitoris a bit too intense. If this is the case I would recommend a slimline vibrator or g-spot vibrator.

Do you live with others or alone? If you live with others and let us know, it will help in finding you something that's going to be super quiet for you!

    Welcome to the forums :)

Tracey cox supersex bullet vibrator was one of the first sex toys I ever bought and still use it a lot now! I would definitely suggest a bullet vibrator!

Hi! Not sure if this is what you're looking for but this http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=16603 was my first vibrator. And it's still one of my favourites! =D

I would suggest you start with something small, cheap and proven like this clitoral bullet vibe. You can allows move on from here. Good luck and enjoy

I found vibrators a little intimidating at first, so I started with this http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=24629. It is silent, doesn't require batteries and you don't need to worry about it getting wet at all. How was it that you found LH, were you Googling a particular type of toy?

Also, welcome to the forums :)

I find Classic vibrators are normally the best suggested:

Personally, I'd rrecommend a standard bullet but with a softer tip. More rounded rather than a sharper point. A great way to start off. Good luck and welcome.

Depending on whether or not you masturbate, i'd say if you don't then start with rubbing your clit', and trying to orgasm, and if that doesn't work then a small bullet or simple dildo, not that long or thick, just so that you know what it feels like and then go from there

    and for a dildo: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=24629
