Is there a quick way to copy and past into this editor? I had my post prepared and the site ate it. I'd like to be able to copy and paste but Word or Notepad don't paste here. Thanks!

Are you familiar with copy paste keyboard shortcuts? They work in my experience

I can get stuff into my buffer and then use Ctrl V to paste in. Worth a try?

Highlight all required text, hold CTRL + C to copy the selected text.
Then come onto here and click into the editor/text box and press down CTRL + V to paste it x

Looked at the instructions but nothing works - CTRL V or anything. The comments box remains blank.

I'm on a bog-standard PC, Win 7, Word, IE 11. I'll try compatability mode. This is weird!

Aha - Compatibility mode fixed the issue! Now I'll go off an re-sort my tale of woe.
Thanks for the suggestions!

I realise you're sorted now but can I recommend using a different browser?
Any other browser than IE will transform your Internet experience :)

Thanks but the others irritate the life out of me! I have used browsers since the original (1992) Mozilla and whilst it has numerous flaws, I still prefer IE.

Yep none are perfect and I switch between them depending on what I'm doing :)

Google chrome changed my internet life dramatically, that's all I can say lol
I never was a fan of Mozilla, I understand it apparently has better speed performance but I've always felt it was the slowest on my devices - I think because it insists on loading the whole page at once instead of letting me get on with a bit whilst it loads the rest lol illusion of speed that is chrome lol
