I dont have any tattoos as yet, its not that I dont want one, its just Im waiting to get the right one. I hate celtic bands/Chinese writing/tribal tattoos, everyone has them and to me they just look tacky and lack imagination. I often wonder if there are thousands of Chinese people with English writing tattoos all over them?

I agree for the most part. You look neither original or 'cool' by looking like alot of other people! I only really believe in having tattoos if they have a meaning to you. If I was chinese I might get some chinese writing but only if I could understand it.

On some people they look really nice, a big built guy they suit but on some skinny short nerdy boy haha don't even go there!

Women shouldn't have too many tattoe's makes them look rough and like a jail bird in my opinion lol.

I have one tattoo so far with plans for a few more.

I find coloured tattoos aren't that good, I only have mine in black ink. I don't mind tattoos on women, but I think the female body looks great as it naturally is. (not in the case of body hair though! Ew!)

Not a big fan of tatoos, think that henna ones are nice, but would hate to get something and then regret it later.

So really prefer non permanant ones then if you change your mind, as we all do over the years you can change it,

    especially names of lovers

I have to say I think tattoos should be selfish and be things that only mean a great deal to you as the person having the tattoo.

I won't do names or football clubs or anything like that. I think you should wait at least a year before getting a tattoo, and if you still really want it without a doubt, then venture forth and get yourself stabbed with needles. I can understand why lots of people don't have them, they are not for everyone. :)

I don't think tattoos look good at all. I've never seen a guy or girl with a tattoo I think looks good. I think smaller ones look better, but that's not to say I like them. If my boyfriend decided he wanted a tattoo, I'd do what I could to stop him.

That's not to say I'm shallow enough to not like a guy because he's got tattoos, but they're not a physical feature I find attractive.

Tats...depends what and where. The coloured ones on a woman if a thorough enough design looks absolutely gorgeous for the first year or two, but then when it fades it looks horrible. For example, I adore the main one that Peaches Geldof recently had. Looks beautiful. However in a few years its not going to look great.

If its something that has meaning behind it such as the King Lear quote Megan Fox has regarding Gilded Butterflies, and can easily be retouched every few years to maintain its impact.

Tats on guys... well generally if you are broad with muscles, then you have the ideal canvas for tats. Its when guys have lots of tats for the hell of it, that I don' t think it looks good.

I'm not particularly broad, however has a large(ish) tat in the centre of my back which does represent something significant, and only recently got it, and only black ink so I can retouch it. Unlikely I'll be adding to it anytime soon.

Gotten number 8 done :) Planning number 9 just need to save the cash for it and that should be my final one. I have been very careful with there placements tho as if im fully clothed you wouldnt think i have any. Unlike the OH who has one of his arms done with a tribal kind of design.

    xx

I have a tattoo covering my left pec and just going over the shoulder. I got it a few years ago and I love it the OH does to. But imo I think anyone considering a tattoo should make sure they're getting what they want. I would recommend getting a tattoo designed for you and not out of a book! Any good tattooist will ask you what you want a make a design that complements you.

Having said all that I can't say that tattoo's on women have ever done anything for me, women have far more interesting things to be looking at

I have about 4 tattoos at the min getting a new one soon. But i do find tattoos on women very very horny. But i dont like women to have to many just one large one if you get what i mean.

I agree with the coloured ink thingy, all my tattoos are in black ink and I'm happier with them like that.

As for body hair - yes women have pubes, and grossing out over the natural biology of people you want to fuck is unlikely to encourage them to let you fuck them. Also, just in case you weren't aware, real women aren't like the plastic hairless toys featured in porn.

Women have body hair. Get over it.

I was more taking about leg hair/excessive body hair rather than just the usual pubic hair (all though I am not a fan of the 'natural' look). Being in a steady long term relationship I am certainly aware of these things, and am aware that women are not the same barbie doll flawless types seen in the more adult TV shows! That coupled with being in the forces means I am pretty un-squeamish about anything imaginable, I just don't find excess body hair attractive. We're all entitled to our own turn-on/turn-offs I guess. Hey, I am certainly not perfect by any standards! :)

Well, "excess" is a matter of opinion I suppose. I mean, excess of what?

And I agree that we are certainly all entitled to our own preferences. I just felt that

    "female body hair, Ew!"

was less a statement of personal preference and more like something which some people might find upsetting. Who likes to be told that parts of their body are "ew!"?
