I'm really turned on at the thought of having sex at the same time as having something in my ass. We have tried it with fingers, and a mini-bullet...what type of thing do people move on to using?
I'm sorry if I sound silly...i'm a bit of a novice at stuff in the ass area. x

it depends on what you like, you can use almost any toy, so long as it is smooth and has a flare base or flange
butt plugs are an obvious route to go down. you can get vibrating ones that will add extra sensation for him, or one's that dont vibrate.
the ass berry range are really popular due to the removable bullet. http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=15379
and sets with different sizes are good for beginners. the tracey cox anal kit has a spot for the TC bullet in them and comes with 2 sizes

theres also a cock ring with a strap on to give double penetration http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=14024
it all depends on size of the penetrating partner as well.

a large penis butt plug is a good one because it stays where you put it very well

But for someone who is new to the play I would try something smaller and not large. As large can start to hurt easily. Either smaller plug with larger base or possible beads, which are graduating from smaller to larger. I would not go for a jump start to something too big.

To have in and remove when you're finished, some of the smaller plugs don't have enough of a girth difference between the widest point and the shaft below.
The lovelabs starter plug would be good, however it is a maybe too girthy if you havn't warmed up with something else first, or very well lubed inside and out! I highly recommend the nJoy plugs as you can chose if you want him to be stroked by a wide smooth or tipped sensation from the intrusion, however price is often prohibative.
As others have mentioned, beads can have amazing effects if removed at the right time; but most of them don't give a particularly full feeling if thats what you're after.

I know there's a Tracey Cox set which has three different plugs of different sizes, which may be ideal in your situation if you're not sure what size you want.

i got the basics slimline butt plug for £5.99 and it's very good- not intimidating at all as it's a nice size and very comfortable

I'd recommend the Booty Buddy...

From my experience, plugs just don't stay put and this is an ideal size for a beginner I think.
It's comfy and easy to insert, but you know it's there. I think it's attractive too, and of course it has a good 'handle' so it won't disappear, and it's easy to remove.
Highly recommend, esp for using it whilst 'in action'!
