I need a hug. Since I was 12 I suffered with itching of my skin for no apparent reason. 2 years ago it got sooo bad I can only survive thanks to Zyrtec being taken daily. But at times, like now, the itching goes on even if I take Zyrtec, likely thanks to hormones. If I go off Zyrtec at times I cannot sleep the second day after not taking it. Today I took it, but it got sooo bad my hands and back are still itching I am avoiding my OH, because I feel extremely down right now...

Thank you I really needed that. I am handling it now relatively fine, but at times it can put me down. And what is worse, all tests were normal, so no doctor was yet able to tell me what is causing this...

Awwww, big *hugs* to you. I did hear today that the pollen count has been especially high this year, causing problems for people with allergies.

I dont have pollen allergy, although it can effect it. when outside I do occassionally feel uncomfortable, but i am suffering from my skin condition all year round, luckily Zyrtec makes it bearable for about 320 days, the rest can be hellish. Hormones, changes between hot and cold, etc can worsen it.

Thanks for the hugs! Seems Zyrtec got it under more control overnight, so I am much better this morning.

Aww, it's awful to have an allergy... big *hugs* to you too. I get hay fever so I kind of know what you feel like. Hope you feel better as the day goes on.

Thanks. and hay fever is bad as well. I am glad i have it more under control now, but was nightmare in the past. I even woke up with lot of blood in my hair thanks to all the scratching I did while sleeping. Henna shampoo (does not colour the hair) specially made for extremely sensitive skin seems to be doing wonders. So there are remedies, still... its a year round condition and can put you down a bit at time.
