I don't mind small, tastefull tattoos like small of back, pubic area or ankle but thats about it really. You sometimes see people going out to a classy functions in a nice dress but they have a big tattoo showing and it detracts from the person..

I've always liked the idea of a (small, subtle) tattoo, but couldn't be bothered with something just for the sake of it. The ones who get initials or a symbol as a form of branding have always appealed to me, although I think getting someone else's initials is a little twee, but definitely a symbol of the person you love and/or serve, if it's small and tasteful and somewhere discreet can be quite powerful: if it's somewhere like your inner thigh, where only you and they can see, so whenever you're naked you're reminded of him, and he sees that proof and knows that no one else gets to. Haven't got to the stage of being wiling to do that for someone yet, but I'm pro-tattooing as a general concept in that way at least.

When it gets to porn, I don't think it matters so much. Again, the obvious massive OTT spreads are only going to work within a specific market, and anything overdone and empty - like the 'unique' Asian characters that the wearer doesn't even understand - looks just as bad as the too-much-fake-tan and drag-queen style make-up. If it's small and unobtrusive, and looks like there's a story or meaning there, then it fits the same as any other scar, blemish or mark.

B is probably the best answer (as a straight-ish girl who does like watching girly porn), since it wouldn't really make me change my mind about watching something in general, and there are probably as many A-type times where it's so cute and interesting that it improves things as there are C-types where the tat-to-skin ratio is too crazy to do anything but stare and laugh.

Stars can work some times, but I just don't find them that tasteful unless they are there for sentimental reasons ie, children.

Sure, these tats do say it all about this woman, but I really think they could have been done in a better way. I couldn't look at her undress and think "cor, she looks hot with those tats!"

Great artwork. Very nice, but I just don't think it belongs there..

This is another one of those original pieces that explains the person displaying it. But on aesthetical values I think it's just a bit cramped up busy to look at. Looks like there was an orginal tattoo then had work continued on it.. Don't get me wrong, the work isn't bad, but I just don't find it something that is sexy.

(Thanks WandA, had totally forgotten there was such a site to shorten URLs. Lol!)

At the end of the day, boys and girls, your body is a blank canvas. When you strip down in front of your significent other, the only things you have to show for yourself is your anatomy and your tattoos. Best to keep the two well balanced with eachother, in my view.

I'd say that third one does in fact fit because of her skin colour I'd say it has religious significance to her and from an artistic point is a good ink. I still don't really believe a big piece is so suited to females but that is my personal opinion. Also the last one definitely looks like photoshop.

i'm not too fussed with body mods personally! I'm also of the thinking that it's all about the personality rather than body image! we all know that people can look pefectly fine but their personality fails them...!

I am a bi-female, I have 10 piercings all in my ears, wanting my tounge pierced. I dont have any tattoos yet, but wanting some.

I find some piercings and tattoos attractive in both men and women, however it depends in the amount and the tastefulness. Yes, I know everyone is different and have a right to look how they want, I am not arguing this, I am just saying my likes and dislikes.

I like subtle tasteful tattoos that can be easyily covered if need be for a proffesional settings, I dont like hand or face tattos, but little wrist ones are nice. I dont like arm tattoos that much on women, pershaps it the stereotype or whatever, I just dont like them. I dont like ugly, rude, offensive or badly done tattoos on any body or any where. I dont like full body tattoos and piercings. I like some surface piercings and body piercings on both men and women, again moderation is the key.

However for me, its the person not what they look like, yes attraction is a factor, but I'd rather be with someone less good looking with a great personality than someone whos drop dead gorgeous and is a nasty piece of work.
Like I said, this is only my opinion, I dont mean any offense to anyone or single out anyone in particular.

Thanks for a thoughtful response. In the survey, I'd guess you would opt for B) About the same as otherwise, so I'll classify you in this way unless you request otherwise.

Personally I dont mind tattoos or piercings on women. The OH has three discrete tats, and belly-button pierced (which I do like). She did try tongue pierced for a day, but it was getting in the way when she was eating, so it lasted a day ! haha

I also have tribal tattoos, all covered conveniently by short sleeves as I work for a professional organisation. Got my nipple pierced during a mad moment of insanity.

Sorry BadBoy but I'm not sure if you're a B or a C, so please opt for one if you want to be included in the survey. Thanks.

Thanks for your response but I must respectfully remind you that the survey question concerns how people repond to girls in porn, so personality is not really a factor.

in which case i must respectfully remind you that i'm an awkward bastard so i choose the non existent Option of D!

but i supppose if i'm going to be reasonable and give you a sensible answer i figure what i wrote before translates into a B!

out of interest what is the use of the survey? just personal interest or something more professional in nature?

Something's amiss here. Your one review nameless comes up with the name HSX and the actual review looks like a pisstake! Bit odd or is it just me after what happened the other week. Not wishing to offend of course.

I've clearly stated earlier that opinions are very welcome, BUT as I'm trying to conduct an informal survey (that lots of people have kindly responded to), I'd like to try and keep it on topic rather than get sidetracked onto the subject of personality. If anyone wants to discuss something else, it's not difficult to start another thread!

Thanks! Regarding your question, it's not professional, or a thorough academic-type survey, but I thought the comments I referred to that sparked it off were very interesting and I was curious to see whether opinon here would support the view of the guy in question. I also checked out his website and it was striking how many of the women have prominent tattoos and piercings, which made me wonder if the subscribers on the whole actually wanted this - or if it was something that had developed irrespective of customer demand. If there's a big enough response, I'll pass on the result to the guy in question and see what he thinks of it.

And if you want to conduct proper, untainted research it's not dificult to use a research website.

Suit your question to the medium rather than trying to bend the medium to your question.
