another guilty pleasure of mine is those puzzle magazines! i can sit for hours on the train or in a cafe filling them in, but sad for someone my age

Iceland and Aldi for cheap meat!

Cold pizza the next morning. I always have to get one too big for me so there's "breakfast" the next day. Don't know why it grosses my friends out, think they're the freaks. Although the fact that I love if I can dip it in korma sauce might be understandably pushing it...

I sometimes grate extra cheese on morning-after pizza and put it in the oven...tastes as good as new!

Maybe cold pizza is something only students adore? Personally I'm just as likely to have a pizza or pie cold as I am hot!

Hi WandA. (can't quote posts on this phone) I agree, there is a lot of shite in the Tate. I went in there with my OH about a year ago and there was a big white wall up and this fella was really hassling me to draw something on the fucking thing. He wouldn't leave me alone for a second. I think he thought I was some kind of art hater and was trying to bully me into drawing on the thing! Honestly he was that bad. I ended up getting a cob on and saying to him, listen lad, I'm gonna get my missus to draw me knocking fuck outta you in a minute and it's going to be a still life, okay? Now fuckoff and leave me alone! There was a big commotion and I walked out with two 90 million year old security guards escorting me out. Straight up, no shit. It was absolutely nuts. I've never been back since. The walker, lady lever and loads of other little places are well better mate. I mean, who wants to look at a fucking housebrick painted white on a pedestal in the middle of a warehouse sized room? Someones been given a twenty grand arts grant to produce this shit! Bollocks. Kirkby Library had a local art exhibition on a few months ago, brilliant mate, brilliant! SG

The Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool. I sometimes spend two hours in there just sitting looking at the amazing paintings. The peace and quiet in there is brilliant.

The 19th century collection is one of the best in the world.

My kids know every single painting in there by now! Yes, I've dragged them there for as long as I can remember but they go willingly now. Honestly!

I understand the pleasure, but not the guilt - London's a bit closer to home for us & we love spending days in museums and galleries (may have to pay a visit to Liverpool now)

I remember the wooden box painted exactly like a Heinz baked bean cardboard box pissing me off.

I am disappointed in you though SG.... You had the perfect chance to draw the biggest cock ever and you blew it! That would of showed the arty little fucker! (No offence to arty little fuckers!)

Biggest collection of museum artifacts and art in the UK outside London you know... That line comes from my many unofficial tours! There is some good stuff here though! If you do ever come up here let me know and I'll give you a list of fun things to do (besides spend it in the hotel room)!

That'd be fab - I'll let you know when we visit (imagine it'll be September time - we've got a week off for our anniversary and nothing planned yet)

Not to sure about that but chips and garlic sauce is a cheap favourite of mine. Tonight I'm getting an extra hot Phall curry from the Indian, I really love a good curry!

I'll probe you some other time (OOoo errr) about certain interests and likes when I'm not (supposed) to be revising. Not everyone enjoys the same things!

Give you a bit of time to think it over too, I don't want to be pushy!

    I read that wrong....

"use the tomato sauce or ketchup for Ad coz she's posh" Like some horrible tomato-y lube situation with my girlfriend... That's a new one for Jezza Kyle anyway...

    Anyway... Eww.

I remember a lad asking if I was posh (as if) because my mum would clean the sauce bottle at the top so it wasn't horrible... I don't think that he knew what posh was...

I got the ferry across to t'other side with the lad a few months ago and we walked upto the lighthouse and not far around the corner is a cracker little greasy spoon cafe. But the sauce bottles. . . . Fuck me, talk about blocked up. Not good visually at all. But the grub is spot on!
