It can matter. I have always been on the large size, which sounds good to many men, but can make sex uncomfortable, and even unenjoyable for some women, which in turn affects me as I feel bad for hurting them, not giving them an especially pleasurable experience, etc.
Basically, there's a reason the average size is so commonplace, it has been selected for as being the ideal "fit".

    Hi all,

I would say for some ladies it's a mental turn on, thinking about, and looking at a larger cock. Please note I said some

Genarally only painful in the wrong position or where no care is taken.

To me size is irrelevant. I've had different sorts of sizes and agree it's definitely technique that counts. Only time me personally was disappointed during when was an ex had a thin small one and that wasn't great but he was also crap so that could of been it.
My man is small when he's not turned on but goes above average when erect and me personally I love that change, he used to be really anxious about it being so small when flaccid but has come to realise it's irrelevant and it's what he does with it and I'm very lucky that he knows exactly what to do with it!

Blokes are more bothered about penis sizes than women are. I think for blokes it’s about social expectation and status but untimately it’s rubbish like lots of other social expectations are e.g. females looking ridiculously skinny are attractive, women with curves are not. It’s all rubbish but needs willpower and confidence to move away from as we are being constantly bombarded with this sort of tut.

If someone’s telling you you have a small penis it will generally be out of vindictiveness.

Have you thought about getting a penis pump. My husband got one and it does make the penis bigger especially when flaccid. The difference is quite noticeable. I also love taking control of the pumping, it's amazing how much you can get a penis to swell when using a vacuum pump. We recommend that you get on from LH as they have quite a range.

Pretty much. It's a psychological competitive tool, denoting hierarchy position. There's also an evolutionary argument that it's for sperm competition: larger penises can remove competitor sperm and ejaculate deeper making removal of their own more difficult. This is also an idea explaining the shape of the glans.

After seeing plenty of men's willies, and not in porn, they can be so different. I will admit my isn't the biggest and when it's flaccid I'd doesn't dangle down my leg like a porn start. But when it gets happy it's an average length and I haven't had any complaints from women or men. I think a lot of men see porn and the size of the men's willies and think that's what every other man's willie must be like, hanging down his leg - real life is so varied and everyone is different. Be comfortable with what you have

I reckon that's one of the many plusses of so much amateur/homemade porn, in that it's not just the sex that's more realistic, but the body types, and easier to relate to.

Yes and no. You can have great sex and bad sex with either or large cocks, technique is more important as others have said. Personally I prefer something on the larger side but not too big as that soon gets sore. Luckily my partner is just about perfect in that regard.

Mine is bang average and my OH loves it. She says it's a perfect fit and the fact I know how to use it is the most important thing.

It's subjective I think. What is "small" or "big" really?

My fella is average size I would say. I always tell him how much I like his cock. It's not anything to do with size. He has really smooth skin and he feels amazing inside me and in my mouth. It's just a nice cock haha. It's a massive turn on making it go hard.

So yeh. I'd say don't dwell on the size of it because you're other half isn't.

Depending on sample sizes (no pun intended), mean length is 5.1-6.5 inches. As with almost all physical features this exists on a bell curve so 3.5 - 6.5 inches would account for around 90% of men. In 2015, Veale et al found the mean to be 5.17 +/- 0.65 inches.
Regarding circumference, around 80% of men fall between 4 and 5 inches.
Outside of these ranges, one could describe penises as "small" or "large".
