    Hi.

So im fairly new here and feel this is a great place to share my experience.

So a few weekends ago was my good mates stag do and after a hefty afternoon of manly activities (paintballing) we went out on the town and sampled far too much alcohol and ended up in a strip club.
This was my first time and i was excited. Didnt know what to expect. And i have to say i was really let down. On entry there was a girl doing her pole show which was good but the whole atmosphere felt really pervy. Old men in leather jackets with massive porn mustaches were a plenty. Short squat shifty bouncers and the girls were all over you practically beggin to get you to buy a dance.

Ive got to say i wont be going back. I ended up as designated best man for a double dance with the stag. (Best man is gay and really not interested) and the girls worked for the money but still nothing special.

The real problem is though that even though i am 100% open and told the wife exactly how our night went i felt really horrible for days after. The wife found this hillarious and couldn't stop laughing. I know that nothing i have done has crossed any lines. I dont have anything to apologise for but just wasnt what its been hyped up to be.
From now on il stick to the wifes lap dancing 😀

I've dropped hints about the wife taking a strip aerobics class for a while now. She's gorgeous, but can't see it herself.

In the end ,from you wives point of view it probably happened for the best.,that you didn't have a good experience. I have seen one or two disgruntled OHs in the past on here were they wernt happy that their partner went to a strip club.

I have seen also posts on here with much more positive experiences as well. Just maybe the club you chose wasn't up to your expectations.

I must admit those type of places just arnt for me and maybe not for you either.

I think it's really sweet you felt that way. Strip clubs aren't like the are portrayed in the movies which I guess is why people are left disappointed. My husband was going to go to one on his stag but his dad turned up so plans were changed. 😂

A couple of blokes I know went to one on a stag do and both said it left them feeling grubby and it wasn't at all sexy . One said he felt like a dirty old man watching girls young enough to be his daughter taking their clothes off . They said it was a nice enough club but it just felt wrong to be there.

I'm sure some men like it but I think there are quite a few that don't find it all sexy . I suppose it depends where the boundaries are in your relationship too , for me and my OH it would be a definate no no.

Bet you'd enjoy your wifes lapdance more

When I've been in one, (stag do's, so maybe 3-4 times), it's more of a laugh, not so much anything sexual

I've never actually been to a strip club, a few older gents from my flying school tried to get me in at the age of 18 but they wouldn't let anyone in under 21, not sure why?

Some of my mates have been to strip clubs for stag do's or even on a night out when they've drank far too much and had no luck with the women they'll goto one and most of them say it's a horrible atmosphere. One friend even went outside for a smoke with others (he doesn't smoke) just to get out of the area. Most peculiar others feel the same way.

I worked in a club ,where they had a stripper once . Being 18 , I just had to have a look !!!
I didn't like it at all ,and after a couple of minutes ,went out the back to carry on cleaning glasses etc . I've never been in one before or since . Waste of money
    Each to their own tho

Interesting thread. Have been to a strip club with groups of friends or colleagues a few times, and while I didn't in honesty find them grubby, they aren't much of a turn on either. Really don't find a woman taking her clothes off for money erotic, it's the wanting to that's 90% of the fun for me.

The only time i did have a really positive and horny experience in a strip club was when i started chatting to the dancer, we clicked and just got on really well, and had a very interesting exchange of views about what we liked in sex and our experiences. Spent a fantastic 40 minutes together before she got told to go back to work. Nothing happened but was further proof for me that a meeting of minds sexually is far more of a turn on than mere nakedness.

Been to a few strip clubs with friends. In my late teens and early twenties I saw it as a fun novelty. Now as im nearly 30 I don't really see much appeal to it.

Yes I think the women look fantastic and most of them seem pleasant enough at first but I can think of better ways to spend an evening with friends.

I find the experience to be rather intimidating from the bouncers who look like their day job is burely high court enforcer from Don't Pay, We'll Take it Away! To the conveyor belt of dancers who get stroppy when you politely refuse an offer of a dance.

A couple of my friends really like the clubs and can easily drop a couple hundred pounds in about an hour. Meanwhile, I'm at the bar wondering why I'm paying up to £10 for a generic bottle of beer when nicer clubs and bars can serve you a better drink with a smile and without the intimidating surrounding.

    Sorry, just my thoughts...

Never had an issue with partners going to a strip club, but they'd prefer to go to a burlesque show with me instead.

Now Burlesque, you are talking. Much much classier typer of entertainment /caberet than anything performed in a strip club.

The atmosphere is always so electric and enticing, you can have full conversations with awesome strangers, it's a really good night out.

Only ever been once. I paid £20 for a dance that lasted one song (some Britney Spears number) I was drunk and in desperate need of a wee so wasn't really "feeling" it, especially knowing the lady wasn't doing it because she found me attractive etc. So yeah, I find them pointless really.
