Oh Lord, I saw a woman on day time news representing one of these movements who seemed to believe a predeliction for pink was evidence for us living in gender hell. I wanted to throw every pink toy at the screen and yell about the women across the world being circumcised.

I do like the muted colours that Lelo prefer and I think a miminalist look is still pretty. No problem with pink. It seems to go with black quite nicely, although the Tracey Cox Supersex does resemble a Bertie Basset penis.

Wow, I love the Belle du Jour quotes Tigerlilies!

Have to say, I don't care what colour a thing is (although I might have an issue if it was, say, snot green...) as long as it does the job. My current fave is purple, but the colour just looks pretty. Pink would do just the same.

I don't mind pink toys and i have a pink coat (the one Twiggy wears in the M&S ads) but i love pink and black together My daughter is 6 she is not a girlie girl, she is not interested in dolls but at one point everything had to be pink, Now she has a deep purple bedroom and most of her clothes are black, or blue with the odd bit of colour thrown in. Before she started school she didn't even like wearing trousers but she wears them every day now.

Ah the pink debate. Do wish they would stop stereotyping us - not so long ago blue was the colour for girls and pink for boys (being closer to red and thus more "aggressive"). They've done studies in babies and found that there was no difference in all babies' love reds and purples. To babies, red / purple = nipple = food = happy baby. And then gender conditioning sets in.

I get really really angry when I'm buying sex toys for myself or anything for my baby cousins (NOT sex toys, normal baby stuff you dirty minded people) as it's virtually all pink. It isn't fair at all - I love most colours. Pink is cruel to me tho due to being a firehead :D And the boys get blue, yellow, green, brown....The other thing that annoys me is that it's always barbie pink...and I really don't want to be thinking of her while I'm enjoying myself. Although saying that, Barbie was instrumental in me discovering my sadistic side and love of BDSM at the age of about 4 *fond remembrances*

I'm definitely not a fan of the colour pink and I really do get the feeling a lot of the time, especially when buying sex toys for some reason, that it's being rammed down my throat. You've got to wonder who decides what colours they all are, because they seem to think that everyon female likes pink. GRRRR.

I have issues with some feminists. I find feminism restricts what you can and can't do more than just being an "ordinary" woman these days! Obviously feminism had its place in its day (and those who fought for our rights when it was needed were amazing!) but now, equality is *almost* there completely! And noone can deny that men and women *are* different, there are bound to be slight differences in some things (as long as the *opportunities* are equal then who cares ey!).

Anyway - I love pink, and purple, and orange, and red, and blue....I don't think there are many colours I dislike, apart from dull ones like brown! (just trying to be on topic hehe).

    Ax

Here's an idea make a toy out of clear plastic/glass and whack some different colour LEDs in the base! then you can choose what colour you want or even have a disco dilco

although thinking about it this might lead to some convulsions of a different kind....
