I've just had a rather intriguing experience. I return home, and mum's left a few envelopes lying around on the sofa. I absent-mindedly sit down and start looking through the mail. There's a brown envelope with my mum's name on. I open it up and find a catalogue, so I pulled it out. It was a porn catalogue! And a DVD fell out!

I've been told of discoveries my sisters have made, but this is the first time I've found something of hers.

The old me would have been grossed out, but the new, more mature me wanted to have a look! I knew I couldnt though, Mum was sitting right there! Thankfully I dont think she noticed. I dropped it back onto the sofa and put the newspaper over it lol.

Has anyone else ever found something belonging to someone else they really wish they hadn't?

My Dad's porn mags! I was about 13 and became fascinated by the stories!

I found a pregnancy test in my 40+ year old mother's draw once....thankfully she had mentioned having her coil replaced not long before that so I deduced she had probably been told to take a test by her doctor!

I also found condoms in my dad's draw once, knowing my mum was on the coil that worried me a little, but my dad's too soft to cheat so it was probably coil replacement time then too!

Have walked in on my dad wanking before (luckily I didn't see anything, but he quickly pulled his pants up as I walked up the stairs) what was a bit off putting was that he was watching star trek or something like that at the time haha! Found a copy of Pam Anderson's honeymoon video on the family computer too!

I'm not a snoop by the way, I had permission to look in the aforementioned drawers and the video was saved to a shared area on the computer.....my parents are just forgetful haha!

Ha ha only a porn mag of my dad's when I was younger. Scary stuff though, I would be horrified to walk in on anyone in the act or wanking.

My dad was quite repressed - he had been getting a partwork called "Life" for me to read when I was older and was mortified when I found it and read it. Nothing shocking but I don't think he was ready for that conversation - I think I was about 8 or 9.

I wish my mum had been more like him - her idea of contributing to my sexual education was to buy me a copy of Playgirl ( I was more shocked at reading John Travolta says "fuck" in an interview therein) and give me books like Jackie Collins and Linda Lovelace's "biography" to read. She also once memorably (as in scarred for life memorable) asked me in a loud voice on the top deck of a bus if I masturbated, aged about 14.

But sorry, no evidence of their own activities - sadly latterly they slept in separate rooms.

Actually TB, at one point we were all crammed into a 2 bedroom flat, so my parents thought it better to split the rooms into one for males and one for females, as my brothers and I were older. Separate beds of course.

I do hope you are joking, because I resent any other implication.

I feel like I've had a sheltered childhood! My parents never told me anything about sex, and whenever I said anything even remotely about sex, it was always met with a glare. Strange, since I know my parents (or at least mum) are anything but prudes. In fact, the first things she ever said to me and my sister were long after we'd both lost our virginities.

I found my Dad's 1975 edition of "The Encyclopaedia of Sex" with some very funky hairstyles on the pencil drawn images. This was under the stash of condoms (which frequently replenished itself so they never noticed when I pinched a few for my own purposes) unfortunately it was right next to their sex toys too, some of which I was so niave about I couldn't work out what it was for.

I'd have thought they'd have tried to hide their things better as they were just tucked into his bedside table, just beneath his Steam Trains magazine lol...

I'm almost OCD when it comes to hiding my sex toys, I'm paranoid about my parents finding them! I do console myself with the fact though that if Mum did find my sex toys, she couldnt complain and I'd tell her what a hypocrite she was being if she did!

I learnt the embarrassing way that you need to be careful where you put these things. We have a 7 month old female staffie pup. When she was about 4months old she was investigating our bedroom (shes not allowed upstairs) we caught her about to trot out into the garden with the cage to my chastity device in her mouth she'd decided it would be great to take outside and play with...

I have a toolbox with a lock on it. Nobody's ever asked what's in it, but I have enough hobbies that I could easily explain it away as accessories for that if I had to. Many people have told me if you put a lock on a box people will be curious rather than just ignoring it as they otherwise would, but I'm not taking any chances. They might get suspicious and try to find out whats inside, but its locked and they can't. I'd rather that than someone finding a box I'd hidden away and looking inside.

i remember about 5 years or so ago my dad had obviously ordered some toys or DVDs rom a company that wasn't reputable and he got on this mailing list for a porn dvd catalouge which came in a white envelope with somehting like "sexy VHS movies at bargain prices" written across the front of it! but those were usually put in the bin i think.

my mum tries to embarass me and my sister. when my sister was going to stay with her first serious boyfriend just over a year ago she bought her condoms and kept commenting on the "fit" and how "they'll feel good for him", i also remember her teasing me and taking the p*ss in a very offensive way when she found out i shaved my pubic reigon completley and she always tries to embarass me about my LH stuff. usually facing her and coming on 10 times as strong with the comments makes her back down.
