For the last couple of weeks I have taken to using a hair & body shampoo and daily conditioner on my pubes, in order to improve what Mrs B calls 'nuzzlability'! I think it is softening them up a bit, but Mrs B isn't so sure. Does anyone have any experience/tips/advice how to look after pubic hair?

I dont do anything to mine not least because there isnt much of it. If I have excess conditioner then I slap that on just for the hell of it. Do you wax it since that thins out the hair and makes it softer when it grows back.

Not wax...usually use a cream to keep balls and base of shaft smooth, but Mrs B wantedme to let it grow a bit, for a change.

You would only have to wax it once to thin it and so you would have softer hair when it grows back (in 2-3 weeks) then you can leave it and just trim from then on.

There are some moisturizers you can get that are hair minimizing - I'm not sure how effective they are tho, not used one myself!

Comb it! Exactly like you would do a beard (although I don't advise using the same comb for pubes and beards), just run the comb gently downwards and inwards. This makes it softer and neater!

Shampoos and conditioners can make pubes a bit dull and matted as they're quite harsh and specifically designed for head hair which copes with wind, rain, sun, stroking, tugging, pulling, tousling and general faffery on a daily basis!

Don't ask me how I know all this...

Well Carly, your head of hair certainly does look nice and shiny .....

Maybe J&J baby shampoo will be less harsh on pubes, but the baby smell down there might just be a bit weird?!

Thanks Carly. Have started the combing - interesting sensation comb on balls! Mrs B has added a comb to her toolkit!

Shaving for me is a pain in the.. groin. I get nasty razor rash, so I can only trim rather than shave.

Took me ages to get used to shaving, used to get terrible ingrown hairs....spent a few weeks of shaving every 2 days, exfoliating before and after and moisturing after, eventually my body has gotton used to it now and I only get ingrown hairs if I don't shave for a few days, as long as I keep shaving every 2-3 days then I have no problems! As an alternative, I used to use a hair removal cream to prevent the soreness, but you have to be REALLY careful with them as they aren't designed for use on such sesitive skin, and they stink! Will get the guts to get waxed one day!!

I only shaved it off because of a deal me and the OH made when we started dating. I shaved, and he shaved too! Lol! But I carried on doing it. makes sex and masturbation more pleasurable when you haven't got a mat of hair there.

i started shaving at about 15-16 years old now i shave every week might try a back crack and sack .. without the back as i my back hair is non existent!!
