Thanks for your concern, and we do know this, but I am on another form of contraception too at the moment. The main reason for the vasectomy is because we most definitely do not want to have anymore so we want the added protection of the vasectomy.

Personally I cannot wait for this reversable injection vasectomy to come out. I will be straight to a private clinic having it done on day one week one when it gets approved! I hope if nothing else it puts a stop to GPs policing people's decision not to reproduce.

DH finally got the all clear yesterday following his Sperm test. I'm so pleased I don't have to take birth control anymore and I can let my body get back to normal, here's hoping to a higher libido ๐ค

My daughter was out barely 30 seconds when the Mrs declared no more, I was to go for the snip, that was about 13 years ago now, I was about 32 at the time. My GP did a check up but I went through a specialist (no scalpel). A day or so of tenderness but that was about it. Pressure eased after a week with my first ejaculation and got better there after.
I can still remember taking in my final sample to the clinic for testing. The girl at the desk gave me a wry "I know what you've been doing" smile as I handed over my sample.
Mrs Sen loves being off the pill, she reckoned sex improved for her almost instantaneously, much better sensations.

Fingers rossed for you aims!
Glad to hear it senator, the only time I've been off BCP was when we were trying to conceive so I'm unsure if my libido improved due to determination or because I wasn't on the pill ๐

Hi Skitty, I am a married with a family and also had a vasectomy.
Re Vasectomy best thing I have ever got done, have 3 kids and the sex improved 4 fold as now there are no worries about my partner getting pregnant.no real pain afterwards , the doc told me after 2 days if you feel up to it go ahead but had to wear condoms etc for 3 months to make sure the tubes were clear
Kids that's another story. Like you I wasn't sure about kids, then unexpectedly the first arrived ,being nervous etc which is common when uncertain about kids arriving...12 years on with 3 kids now they are the best thing that ever happend.
It's a tough decision I know how you feel , best of luck with everything

The wait for the sample to be tested and given the all clear is excruciating. I can't tell you how good the sex was after

I am 34 years old. Got mine done in July. Got it done on his in Glasgow. I have 2 kids.. when I went to see about it there was no hassle.. had a talk to a doctor about it. Got it booked. Easy stuff. Few weeks of bruising and I'm back on it๐

I honestly don't know. We've had so much going on these last few weeks we had actually forgotten about it
