that might not be the best idea, there is normaly restractions(sp) on what there aloud to be sent, for all differant reasons alot being of what kind of country there are in, ie muslim no porn or bozze is aloud as it is against that countrys law and they have to respect that law. and loads of other reasons.

From the sender's perspective, ail mail to BFPO addresses is UK mail to the UK. As I understand it, the BFPO people deal with forwarding mail on to destinations outside the UK.

My brother was out in Helmand province and from what he told me, the facilities in the Forward Operating Bases are really basic. So as much as I'm sure that our lads (and lasses remember) would like the sound of something sexy, the reality means that they would probably be more appreciative of stuff like books, sweets and of course letters.

i agree with jaygee, they also dont have very much down time and when they do, they spend it contacting loved ones (if they can) or resting.

theres also not much privcy and theres also not much time or convent ways to clean or store toys.

i think a parcle of sweets, mags, letters, and silly jokey gifts along with baby wipes and bits would be a much better idea!

Why not think big here LH, the army must have a welfare section, l was talking to some one last night back from Afghanistan after a suicide bomber blew himself up on the side of his Land Rover!! never hear about these near misses do we!! They must be open to suggestions here on this one.

I would like to think that they would consider getting an organised pile together in a container or something and shipping them out to the boys - beats herd animals and other naturally occuring substitutes after all, and might just help keep some sane (relatively).

    Just a humanitarian thought !!

LoveHoney - Bot says: No sector of the MOD particularly wants to be associated with a sex toy company unfortunately! It would cause a furore so blinding that the Daily Mail would probably implode...

Ah it's spmetimes not what you know LH !!!, and l thought Elf and Safety was all we had to worry about. The shoebox idea therefore sounds interesting.... but are there 10,500 of us prepared to help out???
