The Telegraph has done us a favour by rounding up the first batch of Fifty Shades of Grey movie reviews. The Telegraph's own reviewer Tim Robey described the film as "electric".
Variety magazine described the film as a sly tragicomedy of manners - "Jane Austen with a riding crop".
